I fall in love with my friend's 5D Mark II + 135mm f/2 more and more everyday. The colour is just beautiful

Wonder if D700 can beat 5D Mark II.
Errr, Nikon's 135mm f/2.0 is also beautiful.

canon got 135 f2, nikon also got
but seriously,
time to upgrade AF-S + N + ED loh nikon

so slowpoke
Wah, is that a Nikon AF 135mm f/2.0. Just got it?
Nikon may be slow but once they upgrade a particular lens, you can bet that it's a lens that everybody would benchmark against.
I rather have updated lenses that have been tested properly than updating lenses just for the sake of doing it.

talking about straight out of camera ,
last few day when at n-seoul tower , my fren using 550d keep trying to get the same picture as my gf's d90 , same setting , same aperture , same shutter , same iso , both using awb , 50mm 1.8 different brand oni , in the end still cant get the same ,his 1 is like chao ta on the face part , while d90's one is white and warm on the face part.make him jealous

Difficult to say. I notice Canon users usually up saturation and use their built-in Picture Styles which makes skintones horrible when viewed at the back of the camera LCD. Once they shoot RAW and upload it though ACR/LR, it looks ok. That's because like Nikon also, all Canon Picture Styles settings are ignored and makes skintones more pleasing when processed through ACR/LR.

Its f/2 isn't it? Many primes are sharp at f/2 leh

If not sharp then its a bad lens haha!
The f/2.0 is the maximum aperture on the 135mm lens. As with any other lens, to have the lens sharp WIDE OPEN at f/2.0 is a mark of a good quality lens.
