just wanna ask... i noticed that the past 2-3 weeks, U Mobile network a bit lousy... kept dropping and ended up on the Celcom network (roaming). that caused my data speed to drop.
otherwise, worse... connected to U Mobile but no data connection... before that, never happened before. location: Kelana Jaya, PJ |

works fine here as well. Setiawangsa, Ampang and Bandar Sunway
Regarding the customer service, I found that all telco are roughly the same. I have jumped from a lot of telco, but I'll be sticking with Umobile due to their great value. What I do when I file a complaint, is I log every calls or emails or tweets, and ask for case number, and if they don't call me back etc, just tweet them. and list down the logs. Normally they'll response faster on twitter. But the customer careline has been fine for me so far |

QUOTE(adrian0229 @ Jul 13 2012, 11:10 AM) why ppl don go for maxis but umobile? obviously price is the main factor !u88 u get free sms and free call and 3gb data plan. maxis? u need rm68 for 3gb data plan. no free call some more. u need to select either vp30 / vp 50 etc... so ur monthly bill at least rm100. and don forget... if you hit over 3gb data in maxis....prepare for bill shock... other telco only drop ur speed... don need worry bill shock then... |

anyone knows how long does it take to MNP a Maxis number to Umobile?
I've got a buddy who ported his prepaid number and it took around one day, but now I'm helping my uncle to port his Maxis postpaid and it look damn longggggggggggggg. Given a run around by them, Umobile said something like Maxis doesn't allow blah blah and after he called Maxis, it seems that Maxis is fine with it. |
