my Experience since i got Postpaid U68 with them.

UMobile customer service is one of the worst.
They will entertain your complaint but standard answer will get back to you in 2 or 3 days time. BUt 99.99% will never call back.

So think twice..triple time or even countless time before jumping on UMobile wagon.
it is just not worth it.

Haha.....same. here

how bout if compare to maxis? bcoz i m doubt which 1 shd i go for >.<
*
why ppl don go for maxis but umobile? obviously price is the main factor !

u88 u get free sms and free call and 3gb data plan.
maxis? u need rm68 for 3gb data plan. no free call some more. u need to select either vp30 / vp 50 etc... so ur monthly bill at least rm100.

and don forget... if you hit over 3gb data in maxis....prepare for bill shock... other telco only drop ur speed... don need worry bill shock then...

Well, I just need Internet Sharing at home, not necessarily to be mobile or portable (but if the price difference is not much, why not?). Was told by the U Mobile SA to get some TPLink USB modem if I'm on tight budget, but please advise your recommendations.
*
get a huawei modem if you want good speed, like e353,e367, then invest a tplink 3420 3g modem router for home wifi...

Thanks for your advice. So, I guess the very first thing I need to do is to purchase is router - followed by a high(er) speed modem (which I think can be considered at later stage).
From a simple search in the Sales Garage, I found these:

3G Wireless Router
TL‐MA180 (Coming Soon) 3.75G HSUPA USB Adapter RM105
TL‐MR3040 (New) Portable Battery Powered 3G/3.75G Wireless‐N 150Mbps Router RM110
TL‐MR3020 (New) Portable 3G/3.75G Wireless‐N 150Mbps Router RM89
TL‐MR3220 3G Wireless‐N (150Mbps) Router 4 UTP RM88
TL‐MR3420 3G Wireless‐N (300Mbps) Router 4 UTP RM99

Is TPlink MR3420 a 3G Modem Router whereby no Modem is needed? If yes, then at RM99, it's a good deal.
Otherwise, I would consider MR3020 or MR3040.

More sharing on this is welcomed smile.gif

3420 is not a modem. is a router...so u still need a 3g modem.
