From 68, some places coverage like mehh get only umobile2g. This is considered roaming right? I set my phone not to use data when roaming. If using prepaid got extra charges if i turn data usage while roaming on?
*
don't worry, no charge for data roaming.

hi,
im a umobile prepaid (with rm28 unlimited internet package per month) user using iphone4s.
im an active user in line app with my frens and many different groups.
i stay in KL-PJ area, with 3G coverage (my 3G is on).

i found that most of the time, the messages that i sent via line cannot be sent thru. there will have X sign on the right of the message. Then i have to resend it or delete it. Sometimes resend will fail too. So I have to retry almost 10 times.

Sometimes I receive notifications but when I open line to read the messages, the messages will not appear in the app. It won't appear forever even with 3G on. Those messages will appear only after I'm connected to a wifi connection.

I'm getting tired of this problem, so I have tried using kakaotalk and other apps, but it's the same. May I know anyone experience same issue like me?

Added on July 8, 2012, 2:32 pmoh ya, and my frens using another telco like maxis/digi never have this problem..

speed might vary, but max speed for 42mbps near 1u and time square is 24-32mbps,
normal is 9-15mbps, don't expect too much these few days, while they are getting upgrade and gonna link to maxis 3g this year end

my Experience since i got Postpaid U68 with them.

UMobile customer service is one of the worst.
They will entertain your complaint but standard answer will get back to you in 2 or 3 days time. BUt 99.99% will never call back.

So think twice..triple time or even countless time before jumping on UMobile wagon.
it is just not worth it.
