Hi all,

would like to know more about Umobile line at Klang valley..how is it compare to Digi? currently using Digi, but not satisfy with the line due to their big big project network upgrade..

Besides that, Umobile primary line call supp line any benefits like free call?
if the data limit reach, can I still online for U28 plan?
Is there contract for data plan(example:U28) I sign?

For RM15 supp line, call/SMS charge separately?

simply ignore the supp line, umobile supp line is useless, no free min between main and supp, and also call rate is higher

U28 plan is 1gb quota and after speed throttle with no extra charge, coverage around klang valley is significant enough  cool2.gif

Thanks for your reply..

Currently I got a supp line, so if I port to U-mobile, what plan you suggest? I'm taking U28 as primary..my supp line usage is low and no internet required..call/SMS also very little..

For the coverage, can you explain what do you mean by "significant enough"?

Example Digi that I'm using, when I go into mall, the signal will become terrible..
In certain place within the mall still ok, but if I go into cinema, I can turn off my phone as no line..even got also very very weak..

Will U-mobile like this? Is there any contract for U28? How long I need to use in order to port to other telco again?

ok there is no perfect  telco, but coverage for KLANG VALLEY umobile<>maxis>celcom >> digi

subline from digi can't port out, even maxis or celcom, must convert to digi main line 1st

From U-Mobile website, it says can..how come??

What if I have supplementary lines under my account?

All supplementary lines have to be ported together with the principal line.
Note: If a customer fails to inform the new mobile service provider of this during the porting request, the porting request will be rejected.

but i m sure you wont mnp together to umobile subline
since the call rate is 30cents

but if you insist that would be no problem =.=

Saw another plan which is U10 Supplementary Plan..can I get this 1 under U28 plan?

yup you can ... but did you noticed the call rate is 30cents? sms 12cents?

and you enjoy nothing benefit within main and suppline

but not sure u28 can or not

Who is eligible to sign up for U10?
Principal who sign up with U Mobile Postpaid plan (including Phone Bundle Plans) under U38, U68 and U98.

Yeah..will go and ask properly when I port..

yup sure, just request a sim card for mnp, then wait for your digi to be transferred to umobile

now the time for porting taking 3-5das  cool2.gif

Porting will take 3-5days? So after I port, I still can use my old sim card right? then until no line already change to new sim card?

works fine here as well. Setiawangsa, Ampang and Bandar Sunway

Regarding the customer service, I found that all telco are roughly the same.  I have jumped from a lot of telco, but I'll be sticking with Umobile due to their great value.

What I do when I file a complaint, is I log every calls or emails or tweets, and ask for case number, and if they don't call me back etc, just tweet them. and list down the logs. Normally they'll response faster on twitter. But the customer careline has been fine for me so far smile.gif

Would you mind to share the u mobile twitter here?

yup edge speed maximum reach 200kb <>

so once you reach the area with 3g coverage, your phone might auto switch back or you need to manually switch back to my3g
*
Yeah..understand that..but how come it will go to roaming? hmm.gif
