Is the kfc Rm10 voucher still available?
I had a strange encounter for U mobile service center, last month I went to Umobile service center Queensbay Penang. I want to to topup my internet broadband, and ask for the KFC voucher. But they said the promotion is over. Then I asked them, wheather my prepaid internet broadban can use for calling. Then they answered can't.
If the KFC voucher still available, where can I get? I don't want to go Times Square or Sunway. Any dealer can help or possible 7-11?
One thing I found that the umobile internet information is not so informative.

Not sure bout the voucher availability, but they say offer is till next year...
for calls, u need to get the voice call n internet sim card. The internet will cost the same, only with voice function

does umobile use the uncapped thingy ? ..

Unlimited with FUP, fair usage policy..
once reach quota, still free but they throttle the speed down to 64kbs.. some say speed varies between 64-200kbs..

I forget what is the purpose, but i do remember when the change take place, even my U mobile broadband speedtest shows me in Brunei. The speed at that time is bad too.

Gosh. I understand what's going on. They kept capped my speed after previous MB128 expired. As seen as call them is unuseful (1 hour and no one reply), do you think I will fix the problem if go to service center?

guys, did anyone sign blackberry smartphone with U mobile and purchase the Playbook?
I want to sign for data plan rm68/month with 24 month contract to purchase curve 9300 and Playbook...
But the staff at U mobile store said i juz have to pay Rm1879 in total which include Rm680 deposit... rclxub.gif
the playbook is Rm1199 with contract...+ Rm680 deposit
so that means the curve 9300 is free? rclxub.gif

anyone can explain to me?
the staff is really confusing me...

Well, the problem is not about RM3 for a new sim card (I have another actually already so no investment) but the point is: I ALREADY subscriber 20Gb package and not happy to pay more RM128 on another simcard vmad.gif

I Switched to umobile mb128 plan last 2 months .. first 3 weeks my speed was absolutely rubbish until i spam called them 3 times .. all this 3 times they told me its gonna take 1~3 working days and just give me a report number which does ntg .. Until the 3rd week , my speed was finally 'something normal' .. but things get back to worse again after my first bill ... the speed throttle down back to 0.1 ~ 0.3mbps .. As i fedup with the cs , i just decided to canceled the plan ..

Unstable speed , Poor CS , Frequent disconnections (keep switching back to UMTS)

Unbelievable: problem solved!
I just emailed them thru the contact form on their website and in less than one hour they replied and uncapped connection! rclxms.gif
Online CS seems far much better than crap phone.

@s3cretagent: I will NEVER subscribe a POSTPAID service as is well known as every TELCO do crap things to who subscribed postpaid.

only on 1 place? how about other place/area?
then you have to do some research, maybe your area there got people bising becoz they don't like the telco tower build near to their house. haha, good luck!

I believe now the telco also pening, many people don't like the tower build near to his house, but then another group of people keep complaining the signal problem....that why Malaysia telco always got many complaint.

Of course the first thing is make sure you are not over use quota.
