Hi smile.gif
I am new here... I have Umobile, with a huawei 7.2 Mb/s usb modem, a RM40 subscription prepaid.
Since Tuesday I suffer continue disconnections, especially during uploading or doenloading, or watching videos... It seems like during an intensive use of the data transfer connection is cut by their side.
I am in PJ Sek 8. Do anyone around find the same problem? Any workaround?

i have the same problem

seems like no solution for this

i think that they deliberately force disconnect those connection that got continuous large amount of transfer to ensure the average speed of all user is fast enough

it's annoying and frustrating but nothing we can do

after i settle my unifi thing, i definitely will dump it into dustbin just like my previous celcom broadband
*
I am still not sure what could be the problem. I think it's not intentional on their hand (or it's like they are killing themselves, words spread so fast nowadays). Also it not happens everytime and at certain conditions.
I guess is just a problem they are experiencing, and hopefully will solve soon.
I am still a satisfied customers after tried DiGi, Maxis (The 2nd choice), P1, Celcom...
Let's hope everything will work soon! I will try on daily basis.

YEY, Umobile keep on the track again!
I think last days problems was due to their upgrade!
So I have a question: does anyone know where to find an USB modem supporting 42Mbps? As seen as I am in their coverage area, I would like to fly LOL

you can terminate it and rea-apply with package come with 42 mb
upfront is rm350
under promotion rebate rm100
*
Actually I am ok with my package, but I need to know WHICH modem USB I should use for enjoy 42mb/s speed (theoric speed of course) as seen as my area has already upgraded.

*
I am in PJ S8. This morning everything seemed work flawlessly, but in the afternoon disconnections begun again, even if a lot less than before.
I had the same answer from CS so I guess they know what's going on, and will be soon fixed, or so I hope smile.gif

I noticed one thing too. When I begun to have problem my used quota was 120Mb. Today after last days of problem and now seem working, I tried to check my quota and it's... Still 120Mb O__o
Like they didn't count my traffic in last 5 days! Maybe because they had problems? Well, that's awesome smile.gif

I also wish to know why my upload speed is always around 0.3-0.5 Mbps. Is it supposed to be higher?

Gosh. I understand what's going on. They kept capped my speed after previous MB128 expired. As seen as call them is unuseful (1 hour and no one reply), do you think I will fix the problem if go to service center?

i don't know laa.i read somewhere around this thread saying that even the expiry date of one month prepaid broadband,it's gonna takes sometime for the speed to be reset again.that why i bought another SIM card so that i dont have to wait  tongue.gif

alaaa.just invest another RM3 to buy a new SIM  smile.gif  smile.gif
*
Well, the problem is not about RM3 for a new sim card (I have another actually already so no investment) but the point is: I ALREADY subscriber 20Gb package and not happy to pay more RM128 on another simcard vmad.gif

Unbelievable: problem solved!
I just emailed them thru the contact form on their website and in less than one hour they replied and uncapped connection! rclxms.gif
Online CS seems far much better than crap phone.

@s3cretagent: I will NEVER subscribe a POSTPAID service as is well known as every TELCO do crap things to who subscribed postpaid.
