@skeith - there's a reason why I didn't bought HDD and RAM directly from the seller. One of the reason; faulty RAM module which I have to send back to the seller for replacement. So, I bought those 2 hardwares at local shop and if got problem, can claim warranty quickly

i bought it from the same reseller(LBO) as i currently in melbourne.

they provide best service to me and price match with other store(Affordable Laptop). too bad i only go for 1 year warranty as my stay in australia is uncertainty :/

Okay a few notes.

We no longer price match Metabox notebooks as there are some important differences that you should be made aware of.

1.      They are grey imports. Ours are from Horize and are a genuine builder of Clevo machines. If the other company goes out of business you will have no Clevo backed warranty.

2.      They use different components, we only use Seagate platter drives and Micron based memory.

3.      Ours comes with (as standard) the 95% gamut glossy display. Unless you plan to use this outdoors why not choose this one? It is even better than the matte display, and will save you the $59!

4.      We have zero surcharges for credit card or PayPal

5.      Did you know we are a full system builder and we do all the repairs as well. This means we don’t palm you off to someone else when you need to have repairs done or any technical advice. We are always here to help.

Yeah... according to whirlpool forum in Australia, they prefer LBO then affordable laptop too. One more thing, I was doing price matching btween affordablelap and LBO and I sent an email to LBO to see if they can give me a better price to beat affordablelap or not. This is what I get from then after that,
interesting huh?

As for the after sales warranty. LBO is pretty good! at least they answered whatever i asked 

Performance was good. Able to run Crysis 2 (just nice) in extreme settings, but not battlefield 3.

THX TruStudio Pro by Creative was really a powerful sounds enchanting software. It turns my Altec Lansing 2.1 into a much better speakers (better and heavier bass).
Furthermore, you really can feels the different of internal speaker with and without the software.

In fact, I was wondering around P150 and P151 too! But i'm out of budget for a better GPU.  Therefore, P151 is my choice then!

they price matched me on last week ($117 off) and i think they did that 1 last time just for me. if they never price match then i would have went to AL.

and judging by that and according to soundsyst64, if we were  to use that option we have to pay tax since it is not a complete laptop(without battery)...sigh=.='' decisions decisions.

there would be no tax even though the unit not comes with battery.
my unit doesn't have ram and hdd when i bought it. tak kena tax.
as long as seller declare the item as notebook, you'll be fine.

Nice find!! I read the thread in notebookreview..looks like not all of the NP8170 laptops support the 7970m well at least all NP8150(i think) are able to support it.

The following conditions apply:

NP8170 (P170HM) w/ NVIDIA GPU + 120hz 3D LCD Panel AMD 7970M is not supported.

NP8170 (P170HM) w/ NVIDIA or AMD GPU + Hannstar LCD Panel, AMD 7970M is supported.

NP8170 (P170HM) w/ NVIDIA or AMD GPU + LG LCD panel, AMD 7970M may or may not be supported, special EDID Firmware may need to be flashed to the LCD panel. Sager can provide this firmware update as long as the user pays for both way shipping & labor.

i believe you can go for gtx675m as they both similar to 670m but it's not wise to upgrade from 670m. best is to wait until your card is not highly supported for new release game first
i thought they are using HM77 or maybe it's just my mistake

how long will it take for illegear to assemble my laptop if i decided to order from them? 3-4weeks?

edit: and i still don't know how their warranty works
