how long will it take for illegear to assemble my laptop if i decided to order from them? 3-4weeks?

edit: and i still don't know how their warranty works  hmm.gif
*
it depends where you get it.
eg. if you get it from US(xcotic, etc), you need to send back the laptop to them for warranty(you bear the postage fee)

but different resellers have different warranty policy so it's best to ask them directly

QUOTE(cravingstar @ Jun 13 2012, 04:02 PM)
yeah i also wanna know, someone please enlighten us. does the graphic card in all sager changeable or just the 9xxx series?
*
not entirely true. it depends whether the power supply and BIOS able to support the GPU.

for what i know, it takes up to 4 weeks to process the order and delivery. Mine takes within at that time frame smile.gif
it is advisable to ask Illegear personally for their warranty. smile.gif

not all. got user brought up the issue that NP8 series cannot upgrade GC (eg HD7970/GTX660m/670m/675m/680M)
So, i'm not sure about the future for np9 series. hmm.gif

It's 7 to 14 days at this moment.

We are the only reseller in Malaysia who offers local warranty, which means you are not required to send it back to US for repair.

gtx680m > hd7970m > gtx675m where gtx680m is the most expensive

Well its time to switch to GTX 680m, that is if it's compatable with NP8170.. From the specs , it draws the same power as GTX580m. I guess the slot should be the same. hmm.gif Compatable ? hmm.gif

there's a thread discussing about this in NBR. Expected performance of the 680 could be around 15-20% over the 7970 hmm.gif however, the drivers for 7970 havent mature yet havent they?

Haha, DHL/TNT/Australian Post never failed me so far.

Bought Samsung 23" LED from Sydney to ACT, I received it by Aust Post in less 30 hours after payment made.

DHL, sent back my faulty laptop to them at 3pm, signed by Horize at 4pm next day.

LBO by TNT, a bit slower then those 2 mentioned. But never failed me so far.
