by looking at the design alone, seems to be a quiet tires.
jointly developed by the Silverstone parent's company @ Toyo.

much depend on your budget and preference. xm2 is marginally ahead.

if you're using the same size, fc will not be affected.
try pumping different pressure. anyway, performance tires is differ from those economical
tires which employ more of a low rolling resistance tech with some compromise in overall performance.
i guess it was down to the tires performance, you've got more confidence. thus, you drive faster.

any range from Yokohama, Toyo or Michelin is fine. much depend on your driving style.
avoid low range Falken like 522 / 322 or those NCT5.
check out the link at the first page for better understanding on tires behaviour.

bigger rim isn't always better. 205/20/16 or 205/45/15 might give better stance and handling
but there could be some compromise in car's fc / behaviour.

go for F1 Asymmetric 2 which has had better sidewall's performance.
PS3's performance in wet and dry is good but sidewall is a tad too soft compare to the previous PP2.
even the new RE002 is worth a look. it's overall performance beat other tires with double A rating.

its Achilles ATR(not ATP) Sport. my cheapest drift tires. use 'em for drift rounds. yet no sign of crack (in / out).
tires is hard and noisy thou. 420 treadwear, hence most people will use it for more than 3 years
due to lasting / thick tread. that's when the crack appear!
we did not determined the tires usability by tread's thickness alone. there are this sidewall / shoulder / rubber condition, storage / usage environment, age and so on need to taken into consideration.
come to Dataran Merdeka this coming 17-18 dec to see the Achilles ATR Sport in action.
fyi, my expensive tires cracked (2.5 months old - undisclosed brand for some reason) under 'intense'
weekend drive(never use for drift). something unexpected from someone who change tires every 6 months.
a shop which recommend you a Rapid P609 does not deserved a 2nd visit.
rather than going for those unknown china tires, check out Nexen or lower range Kumho.
Kumho KU-37 which is made in china but return a decent result.
in most cases, treadwear does determines the tires performance. in foreman term, the lower treadwear
tires' are generally more sticky.
btw, tires is definitely one of the most important part in the car. no compromise in safety!
