you got a better stability at higher speed, more direct steering feel and better handling.
the different in speedometer minimal but other than the diameter / sizes,
you need to take into consideration the added weight. more weight means extra load to the braking capability whereby your car will stop at further distance but less nose dive feel during braking.
weight affect your fc and acceleration too.
+ 1
from 185/55/r15 to 195 width, different in speedo reading is around 1.9km slower.
better on 6jj wheels.

Hello, may I ask/learn how do we know if our rims fits the particular tyre measurement? E.g. mine is a 16" rim, stock tyre 205/60/R16, and in the market there are some other sizes such as 215/60/R16 and 225/60/R16. How do I know mine can fit into the 225 width (10-20 mm difference)?

Appreciate all replies. Thanks!

OK, I am sharing my experience with my new Michelin PS3 215/55/R16 tyres which I have changed if few days ago. As you see, I have posted many questions on this tyre and so far did not get any solid reviews.

I've tried many different models and brands throughout my ride (XM2, RE912, Goodyear Fuel Save, Good Year NCT-or what stock tyre) and so far nothing beats the PS3. The tyre shop told me that XM2 is a quiet and comfort tyre and I do not agree with him now. The XM2 have been the best among the rest I have used/mentioned but still can't beat the PS3 in terms of comfort, wet and dry performance and handling.

If you guys are considering a tyre, get the PS3 if budget permits. It won't disappoint you. I guessed I made a good choice to choose PS3 over other brands/models this time.

maybe cuz your tire is new. ps3 once worn down a bit it'll be worse than XM2.

that said, it's handling, and especially wet grip is far better than xm2, and even yokohama's c drive 2 smile.gif

=edit=
xm2/ps3 is based on limited experience riding other people's rides. i have not bought any michelin tires nor do i plan to lol.

PS3 and F1 Asymmetric 2 are some of the best all rounder tyre for normal people
They are jack of all trade and that is their biggest appeal

So far I guessed PS3 is the best among those I used. As I am driving a normal car, I am not sure if there is any tyres out there for my car size - stock rims. I do consider Michelin Primacy HP but that's way too expensive.
