Hi, I'm planning to change my tires. Any recommendation? Stock spec: 195; 45; 16' . I know it sounds weird but that's my stock tires..

Prefer comfort and good grip during raining.

you could check if michelin ps3 has those size.
perhaps, the closest you get is yokohama s.drive or the likes of bridgestone playz.
although goodyear nct5 may have 'em, its lousy shoulder block and bad grip is a big no.

175/65/14 to 185/60/14 should be okay. different is almost negligible. slightly better handling too.
any michelin range should be fine.

get a 2nd hand tire from any shop near your place.. they should be better then the one sold in the puchong shop which is suppose to sell imported used tires.. those tires are actually very old tires.. some are as old as manufactured in 2001! those tires look ok at first but after using it for a few weeks, cracks will start to appear on the outer wall.. at higher speeds the tire could explode.. rclxub.gif

and those old imported 2nd hand tires are not cheap either.. they cost like rm120 a piece which is ridiculous for an old n used tire doh.gif

Still too new at the moment. Let the market review it first and see how is it. For the mean time, use more well known models first.

i used to get a used tires (drift purpose) from tth. their price and quality is not up to the mark.
for anyone which is really looking for a good used tires, try soon hou at ampang.
i recently bought a 16" falken st115 (year 2010 with 95% tread) at 160 bucks a piece which
is a steal considering the sidewall and shoulder is still almost as good as new.
their alignment job sux' big time thou.

kent_jai@
do not take risk. no point repairing a burst tires. unless it was a minor punctured caused by nail or
anything smaller.

I am not sifu but just to share, recently changed my 1.8A stock livina 185/65R15 (Dunlop) to 195/60R15 (Michelin XM2)

Pro
more stable & confident when cornering

Con
immediately feel slight lossing power during pickup but not much different after running at 4th gear.
Note :
185/65R15 tyre pressure at 235kpa
195/60R15 tyre pressure at 210kpa as per tyre shop recommendation, tried 215kpa start feel bit bumpy.

sifu's , i'm on tight budget , so looking for good budget donut's , 215 45 17

initially i wanted to get the Achilles ATP sport , buthen the tyre ppl say the side wall of Achilles always crack @.@ got quote for 240 per pcs for it ..

then i ask federal 595evo how much , he not selling , may i know how much for 215 45 17 ?

then lastly the shop highly recommend me a tyre brand call "RAPID P609" RM230 per pcs , i see the tyre showing 215/45R17 91W XL , treadwear320 , traction A , temperature A ~ 1 year warranty , say no sidewall crack prob ..

this is the only info i get after googling for an hour :
http://aaatyre.en.hisupplier.com/product-5...r-car-tyre.html

anyone know is it good ? is treadwear 320 not so good and means softer ?
