guys, any idea on Nexen N8000 and Hankook V12?

i know hankook V12 is proven and full of awards. How is N8000 stands against it?

and btw, yokohama Cdrive 2 is no where near v12 and N8000 right? though the price very near to each other.

you guys need to read this.

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/tec...e.jsp?techid=52

====================
Intuition suggests that since the front tires wore out first and because there is still about half of the tread remaining on the rear tires, the new tires should be installed on the front axle. This will provide more wet and wintry traction; and by the time the front tires have worn out for the second time, the rear tires will be worn out, too. However in this case, intuition isn't right...and following it can be downright dangerous.

why nobody bothers to go read the link that i posted?

sleep.gif everyone comes up with their story, i think the tirerack did some studies.

anyway, best to change all 4 tyres together.

yea, i think they mean

old tyre in front = understeer. ( just lift your foot, then it can be corrected)

old tyre at rear = oversteer.

so, pick your choice tongue.gif

i remember dunlop/michelin had a youtube video on this topic, let me go back to search.

saw a lot of big cars using falken. and small car using michelin.

i wonder if sometimes they stretch their budget too much.

and nothing beats a camry 2.4 using a botak yokohama C drive. sleep.gif

Tried XM2 on wet, good grip. Yes, agree on silent part, on highway can't hear the sounds.
But F1 Assy 2 lining for water look more smaller than PS3, doubt it will give better water clearance.
*
Bro, F1A2 and PS3 are literally king in the wet.

go check tyre review.

F1A2 the best for wet grip. see, it got so many first place.

Xm2 is economy tire. for fuelsaving.

yes...xm2 is an economy tyre, for long lasting...however,the grip on wet is far better than those accelera or achilles tyre from Indonesia.even Dunlop D-01 also not so good in wet...XM2 vs CC5..XM2 is better...at least these is my feedback for these tyres.i used it b4...haha...yes,i used accelera and achilles b4 so that i can comment..hihi...
*
yaya, but bro, got another bang for buck tire....yokohama Cdrive 2. better grip, also tahan lasak.

your xm2 after 10k-20k km, the grip in the wet will drop drastically.

try c drive 2 wink.gif

based on their damn soft compound, and a lot of user reviews, i dont think they will have long lasting treadwear lol.

wet grip is also not yokohama's forte. when it comes to c.drive2, its basically comfort, and dry performance grip smile.gif
*
er....a bit better than xm2 la....xm2 when new is ok, when worn out a bit, like 40%, the grip really drops.

Achilles is not so crap compared to nct5. It's better than most standard oem tyre. Anyone with a tight budget should consider Achilles. Get RE002. Newer released tyre than ps3. But I think i was quoted for 330 per piece Dec last year. Performance re002 I don't know really. But even re001 was better than ps3. So by theory re002 should be even better.

in the wet, ps3 > Re001.

in the dry, RE001>PS3

i'm talking about grip only smile.gif

Appreciate for some advice and review... 195/50/15 (Myvi)

KUMHO ECSTA  KU31 - RM170+.pcs
(Existing Tyre...so far no complaint of these brand of tyre...only reach of 45% tread start getting noisy
lately got new tread (KU37 i guess) ).

Achillies ATR Sport  - RM170+/pcs
( My workshop recommend me...He even use on track....Dry Wet condition are quite equal....what do you guys think? some review said is noiser than KUMHO but more lasting...more lasting more noisy...)

Hankook V12 - RM200+/pcs
(No idea too...need more review and comments..tyre shop said grip on dry wet also good....hmmm)

Federal - RM250+/pcs
*forgot which model code but the tread was awesome and sexy.
I personally never use any kind of this LOOKS so high end performance tyre(the tread)...LoL

**I'm weekdays travelling at the road of LDP to Cyberjaya. (most of the time cruse-ing 80-120km/h s'time more)
Once a while like to cornering (I guess weekdays go to work I always weck e corner at 70 80....) sleep.gif|||
Weekend PJ - KL city driving. Two - Three months will go Genting once.

I Apologize in advanced, I'm so hesitated going after which one...
i'm not rich not poor... my budget are so reluctant IF more over than RM250 then is no no no.....
Could recommend me some tyre also too.... smile.gif

Hope to heard from you all soon.
Thanks in Advanced....

hankok v12 is ok.

high performance thread means will suffer during rain.

see the thread of michelin pilot sport 3 and michelin pilot sport cup. those are UHP performance esp in the wet wink.gif for wet performance u need straight groove.
