I dunno how you guys said T3 bass is light... I'd say it's definitely more powerful compared to all edifiers in terms of volume/bass ratio
the thump, the beat, it's just all clean,tight and powerfully deep.
the tiny satellites serves pretty well as a full range driver without sounding tiny like Bose C5
Clarity wise, I still wouldn't choose T3, same reason like Cosef... too harsh~ (yes I'm fussy with my preferred trebles)
the trebles does sometimes reminds me of cheap branded speakers. very fussy with soundcards paired.
personally I think
T3 serves best as a general speaker
for those who cannot decide their preferred choicego for Edifier S530D, I'm using it now and it's pretty good sounding without giving me too much headaches in life
ohya, lets not go off topic, this is an Edifier thread

well ive not heard of all of edifier's lineups, so i wouldnt know. however if you compare it to the more main streamed speakers, or even its own gigaworks brothers (THX certified lol) then yea, it is a lot weaker.
the harshness, could be due to the mid/highs mixed in a single driver. then again personally ive never had any harshness issues during my audition of it at singapore, though, i never really extensively auditioned it ^^;
though i would say T3 would be better for music, while S530D would be the better overall. just the ext. amp, better controls/presentation, well separated drivers for the highs/mids, and big ass subwoofer thats on a single box of its own (not shared with amps inside)
thats definitely much better on movie/gaming, hence the "general" choice.
