@.@ Bandpass @.@ Radiator @.@
What bandpass sub means? Filter out something below 20Hz and something above 300Hz (just a figure) and only those frequencies in between can pass through? |

LOL LOL LOL
Came back to hometown and my dad got a new DVD player (china brand? chiplak brand? whatever)... What "swt"-ed me is... Its built in speaker. When i first try it out... I found that there's two audio source. One from M3400 and the other one... nowhere to be found. I tune down m3400 and found that the dvd player itself is shouting out loud!! Somemore no distortion at high volume. LOL... THen find the way to switch to just external speaker and there's where i found... That dvd player has amp built-in. Able to output 5w @ 4 ohm for left and right. Support digital signal through spdif... Decode DTS... Quite shyok. haha... Just sharing for fun. On the box... said what 24bit 96khz dac dot dot dot something like that. Btw... My M3400 still so far so good after being abused by my family. lol |

LOL... M3400 can cause my living room window pane to shatter... a bit though. LOL... But the main problem here is... My dad and my mum and even my bro don't like loud sound~~ I can't blast them loud. T.T
Added on May 21, 2011, 12:26 pmA question for all of u here. A bit OOT though... If you're a music person, shall you care about sound quality? What I mean here "a music person" is someone who loves playing instruments. It's my friend, who plays guitar and somehow love guitars, owning few guitars that cost over 1k EACH! Then... I bought one new headphone (Edifier 330) and one earphone (Hippo Groove IEM). Out of a sudden, he asked me whether he can tries them out. Then... he tried my iems and his own sonic gear spark plug... Mine I know are nothing much into audiophile grade but they at least give some SQ: the Creative EP-630 and Hippo Groove. He doesn't bother to try the headphone though. You know what??? He listened to all three (SG spark plug/Creative EP-630/Hippo Groove)... The conclusion from him is... He said "bass is more easily heard" from his SG spark plug (NOT KOSS Spark Plug~)... I don't get this... My other housemate tried them out too and said obviously the other two got tighter bass and hell a lot more clarity... When he's going to buy the SG, I have already told him to pay a little more for some decent thing... As I have not really tried his spark plug out before... Only put on once but it doesn't fit at all. Erm... I think the plug only fit those with really big ear canal as it won't be fitting anyone. This happens because the... "extended part" of the earphone where we put on silicone tips is too short... The earphone can be said is OUTSIDE my ear. Well... I listened to his SG Spark plug... What came to my mind when he turns on the music... OH CRAP!!! My nokia original earphone (normal ones, not iem) also can beat his 99!!! I don't understand how he listen to this earphone everyday day and night... I'm not sure though... Maybe he abused it too much and caused the sound to change... Hissing is one problem and the sound... Really CRAP. No other word I can describe. After that... I asked him. How can he survive listening to this earphone... He said yea... mine have more clarity but he won't be paying on a earphone. He's a music person and he listens to those guitar dominant music/rock/etc... How can he accept that what he's listening is totally different from those artists trying to represent to the audience. I just don't get that! He's not poor though. He invested i think 10k+- on photography+guitar but not like RM50~100 on a decent pair of earphone that could at least give not to say excellent but decent rendition of music. This happened few week back. Just happened to share it here to listen to some others' opinions. I don't dare to open a new topic as he's surfing this forum quite frequently but quite sure he's not coming into edifier thread xD *M3400 rock & roll in my hometown now* This post has been edited by IwanAGP: May 21 2011, 12:26 PM |

QUOTE(GAT-X105 @ May 21 2011, 11:31 PM) MAYBE HE JUST A POSER Erm... But it's like... he'll listen to those songs because he loves guitar and his earphone is delivering to him some crap music. Don't understand why he can accept that... |

QUOTE(zhihao4456 @ May 27 2011, 10:17 PM) I never compare two of them. I bought M3400 due to budget constraint. It's now serving as my tv speaker in my hometown. It depends on how you use it. For my home, it's enough. Bass is just right too as the living room is not quite big. If you want shaky shaky bass, it gives just mere little vibration. Not sure about hcs2330 but my friend bought it and said it's quite nice. Btw... M3400 should be the only one with 6.5" sub-driver at RM150+- range. 2330 is RM270++ right... |

QUOTE(power911 @ May 27 2011, 11:51 PM) yes Lol... Yea... When some deep bass is pumping, my living room window pane do vibrate. And... I put it inside a shelf. Sometimes some air can be felt pumping out from the shelf. But I think it depends on the design also right. M1335 hardly shake anything up even though it has got 5" sub. hahaM3400 is the only one that have 6.5" sub for RM150+ range HCS2330 is around RM300 in a small room I guess the M3400 is worthy enough to shake things up. my cap ayam subwoofer 4" driver is enough to shake things up |
