QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Oct 24 2011, 10:24 PM) not to "pour water" in edifier thread, http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1850014 will point out the aego M or creative gigaworks T3, and ive heard the T3, and its really REALLY good. think of an aego M, with bass (aego m's bass is really sad LOL) that said, between the 2 speakers in your mind, i would pick the S530D. optical support, wooden enclosure, proper 2 way speaker setup with proper tweeter/mids (the corsair version seems a little smaller ) with amp separated from woofer. How about T3 vs S530D? which one would u pick? I really like the overall quality of the S530D though. T3's satellites if Im not mistaken dont have tweeters right.

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Oct 25 2011, 02:12 AM) its sorta how aego M are built. if music wise, i would go T3 gaming/movies id go s530d Its kind of a hard decision to make. But I do listen to music more. T3 kinda amazes me with the amount of bass it produces. However certain reviews wrote about the overwhelmed bass of the T3. And I wonder is that true? I like bass but I prefer quality over quantity. Another difference between T3 and S530D is the control panel. Basically T3 only has a volume control knob and thats all. Bass level meeds to be adjusted on the actual sub itself. That's my concern with T3. Mainly cuz I like how users are able to turn off the sub of the S530D to avoid disturbing others and all that. How about this, which speaker system produces clearer sound?

I'm using Logitech X-540 now. The bass is fading as time goes by. I wanna feel ground shaking bass. I know any speakers of my choices are able to do that. I like bass but it's not my priority among speaker qualities though. I think S530D is the most balanced among all. I really wanna test the speaker systems before buying one but I don't think there's any shop here even has those speaker systems. I live in Penang btw. I'll most probably go for Edifier.

I feel like saving more and go for S730. But I read some reviews saying S730 has better bass but S530 has better sound quality. Is that true?

Bought the Edifier S530D with Asus Xonar Essense STX. First day without burning in already can tell a big difference compared to my old Logitech X-540. Almost no distortion at high volume and everything is clear. No regrets at all. After burned-in probably even better!
