after a few years, i know this mango very well. biggrin.gif

.. mangotv or imgotv is like letv and cibn, legit iptv providers in china.
.. like astro or hypptv here, u need to pay as a subscriber and will only work within mainland china.
.. i would think with subscription (i.e. id/pw) and a good vpn, it will work from here, just like some people can get USA netflix here.
.. old himedia models are firmwared with imgotv as they were partners; but no more since q5pro/q10pro when himedia went international.
.. so, this green mango or this new mango are cracked apks.
.. same like a few years ago, u can get only the older shows, most of the documentaries, lifestyle, etc.
.. those u can get, they are good stuff, all in HD, smooth.

i actually watch it from time to time. there is one food/cooking series there - excellent, makes u hungry. laugh.gif

plus older tv series and movies.

Yup, 4k tv and 4k avr.

with that,

if last setting is set at highest 2160p 60hz, two things:

.. ... when powering up, always do tv, avr, q10pro; when powering down, always q10pro, avr, tv.
if u do wrong sequence, q10pro cannot detect the other 2, will default to 1080p 50hz.

.. when u switch from using native player 2160p to something else, say hypptv, it will change to match the the source which is 1080i 50hz.

On an unrelated note... I thought getting an AVR would eliminate having to power up and down in specific sequences. Cuz currently doing that with my HT and thought the more sophisticated AVRs don't have such issues. hmm.gif hmm.gif

i doubt it.

the player has to detect where the output is going, whether it can take or not.

if the AVR is not 4k, the player will not even allow a 2160p setting.

I bought my Himedia from Nicety more than a year ago. I recommend either Q5 Pro or Q10 Pro.

Even IF you can find one at a slightly cheaper price than Nicety's, I strongly recommend that you get it from Nicety. His after sales service is second to none! You will need help from sifu like Nicety if you are new to TV Box. Even if you are an IT guru, Android TV box is a different fish.

He keeps the latest apps, add-ons, firmwares etc for his customers. That is a great help for me.

Many of Nicety's customers have provided positive feedback on his after sales service in this forum. You will not regret it if you get it from him.

Enjoy your new TV box!
