QUOTE(teen08 @ Dec 22 2017, 04:15 PM) PB is 1.25 but cimb is 1. when i called and check before performing the transaction cimb told me 1. but the thing is now when i check its actually 2% so im guessing 1% is by cimb and the other visa. I advise you use PBB instead. CIMB rate quite high, my oversea transaction always 2% while PBB always below 2%. 1.x only. Ambank also quite low rate if you have it also.

Future stick on Pbb quantum I used UOB YOLO & PBVS for Klook same day same amount, the difference really big.. YOLO charged 2%+ and PBB is only 1.2++% This post has been edited by mamamia: Dec 22 2017, 09:21 PM

What would be the cheapest card for transaction rate to swipe in Singapore? I'll be there for like 4 nights..
Can I use Public Bank DEBIT CARD to swipe since many said PBB offers the lowest rate?

Guys,
Just found this tread and i've been going through my previous purchases.
Found out that using CIMB Cash Rebate MC
July 12 Online purchase from UK website. Calculated fee was 3.25%
Nov 24 Online purchase from a diff UK website. Calculated fee was 2%
Mayban2Card VISA May 30 1.85%
May 31st 2.4+%
I calculated based on transaction date. Is it suppose to be transaction or the posting date? Just curious why one of it had a 3.25% rate. Does the website/seller play a role in the rates as well?

I was given Visa Infinite. And after comparing, VI and WMC benefits are more or less the same. Thinking to apply WMC soon. They doesn't come together right? If not mistaken I receive 1 card only. Unlike CIMB, the 2 cards are together.

Which one cheaper???? My mindset always cash is cheaper than credit card. However, in some scenarios like hotel booking, it is not so convenient to bring lots of cash to pay the cashier at the hotel.
