QUOTE(edan1979 @ May 19 2011, 07:54 PM) We've just locked down RC1.... doing final burn-in testing with RC1. Should be on track for the release tomoro with the "surprise" that alterbridge has been alluding to. ;-) So to those who's aiming to get on Gingerbread-powered Overcome, might want to wait just a bit more, to save the effort! ;-) |

QUOTE(ocz @ May 19 2011, 04:32 PM) You can flash Overcome Froyo 1.6.4 FroyoIf you want to flash back to original stock rom - find the original firmware files at www.samfirmware.com . You should have kept a record of these before you flash OC 2.0 beta. If you didn't keep a record of these, go back to your seller and ask them. However do note when you flash 2.0 beta - you have change the kernel version and file system to EXT4. When you flash back the stock firmware files, the kernel remains the changed version |

QUOTE(benny888 @ May 19 2011, 09:59 PM) You can flash Overcome Froyo 1.6.4 Froyo Oops. Slight error there. All Gingerbread ROMs currently support RFS only and not ext4 as there needs to be some modifications within the kernel that still has to be done. Even in RC1. RC1 will still be RFS for now, despite the RichardTrip mods. We're aiming to fix this is RC2.If you want to flash back to original stock rom - find the original firmware files at www.samfirmware.com . QUOTE(Kabuto7 @ May 19 2011, 08:01 PM) anyone got problem to install samsung kies on pc ? i also have a problem with installing kies version 2.0, but mine is once its downloaded it gives me an error message that it cant finish the installation. tried it couple of times even after i uninstalled my older kies.i already download the latest version 2.0...after finish download, iwant to install it but this error come out disk space required for the installation exceeds available disk space my hdd still got space to install it but then still cant install it on my pc... by the way my suggestion is that you stick with you'r original kies u got with you'r phone. there isn't much of a difference and its working fine in terms of connection. Added on May 20, 2011, 7:12 amjust an observation regarding charging the battery. once you charge the battery to 100% you better take it off other wise it's not effective to let it go on; the reason is i think once it reaches the 100% mark the battery stops charging and relies on the internal juice. different than other batteries i tried with my other phones. i just left my tab charging over night 6 hours and already reached 100%. but then i unplug and plug it back and the battery is like 80% and start charging back and thats all when the phone is off. by the way i already have calibrated my battery.
