hey guys anyone of you know how to prevent opera mobile or dolphin hd from entering m.youtube.com when i'm actually try to entering www.youtube.com? i heard they got a trick to make it think that you are using desktop hence will bring you into clasic google instead of mobile google... how to do that?

I was like u before thinking go get the Asus eee Pad or get the galaxy tab.... but end up i think i need portability over the superbness... so i end up getting this tab

and using the tab has one good thing over the other normal android phone... is its battery can really put through a strong abuse.... no need worry battery kong in 2-3 hrs for surfing net.

it is up to ur personal preference anyway... the 10.1 and other pad in the market now all dun allow voice calll (beside the CSL one).

Thanks for reply, i thinking of getting tab, with 3G 1 and is simcard cause i need to change my phone, and if to normal smartphone i abit dont like, cause i prefer to do surfing and so on to like replace a netbook for normal productivity, email and reading and do light word processing.

So is it can just get tab with sim card, then add a data plan for 3G for the GPS on the go, then can really use the tab as a full time phone? for calling and sms only mostly.

You are one of the real experts, bro. SGS is my first Android device but have been learning lots ever since I started lurking about in LYN and XDA forums.

BTW, is it just me or does the Tab feel significantly quicker than the SGS (comparing 2.2.1 custom ROM Tab with ext4 lagfix VS. 2.3.3 stock ROM SGS with ext4 lagfix)?

Then you are not alone, in fact, not only 2 of us. Many users with digi have been reporting problems like this. I have faced this since I got my tab 3months ago and it never solved unless u change to other operator. I've tried maxis 3g and it works flawlessly.

Flashing to newer roms or even now that I'm on overcome also the same. if u found any solution plz share.

Downloaded, now downloading Overcome custom rom 2.0 beta. Damn, forgot my cable, need to go buy one ha ha..

i have try to play a 720 video without a problem in mkv format. quite a number of movie... file size around 3-6gb...

anyway... anobody knows if we can delete the default launcher and use another launcher...

im now on OC 2.0.0 beta 2...

i cant get fullscreen wallpaper on my SGT from apps like Flikie Wallpapers HD...it can be fullscreen when im using OC 1.6.4

Best to do so, although many reported no problems going to overcome 2.0 after loading stock gingerbread firmware. Mind you, doing the GB-stock-safe method will wipe your internal SD (e.g. where your TitaniumBackup data is stored) so do backup to PC or external SD first, then remove the external SD while flashing.

Update : Have installed overcome 2.0 beta2. My gawd, it's smooth!!! Still loses to my CM7 on the SGS, though, ha ha. No time to run Quadrant yet, will update my forum sig later today.

Shhh..... don't say it too loudly. ;-) but thanks for the compliment! I'll give you a secret I've never actually told anyone, not even the team... I was actually inspired by brother Benny here. When I first got my Tab, it was his original great instructions about rooting and flashing over to the MoDaCo ROMs/Kernel that got me on my journey in Android Samsung-style! Those of us, spoilt by the ease of HTC's Android infrastructure had a slight learning curve to overcome, and Benny's posts on that in his blog helped me on the way! In a way, it's a tribute to his selfless desire to help, that made me write the guides... Here's a belated thanks again Uncle Benny!

Anyway, with regards to the donation... well, I'll put it this way: alterbridge86 deserves all the donation! He's a very, very nice guy, and does all of this hard work with an absolute dedication and patience that I've never seen in a developer before! His level of tolerance and patience with the newbies is really amazing! I'm just so happy to help in anyway I can, and the satisfaction of doing all of this, certainly is the best reward! :-) That and the reward of always being the first to taste the latest Overcome ROMs/Kernels way fresh out of the oven, of course.... ;-)

But having a simple informal teh tarik session sounds nice... lepakin' with fellow Tab fiends is always great way to spend time!
