 50 kg for men consider underweight?, Anyone got the same problem?Any opinion?

hi guys,
I'am 50kg guy around 20+ age.I have tried quite many weight gainer from Appetton Weight Gain to GNC product.
Nevertheless how much effort that I put,my body seem not growing,maintain the same weight.
I also got regularly go to gym.
Do it will because any disease caused that make me can't gain fat?

Anyone got the same situation,kindly share your experiance>Much Appreciate:)

Many people nowadays want to reduce fat but we are d opposite:)

Try to get proper diet bro. I also same boat with you. Then I read few thread in this forum and bodybuilder forum and find out that I didn't take proper diet.
Eat a lot but junk food also thin haha. But now got good progress. biggrin.gif

With 175cm tall and 57KG weight previously. After 2 weeks with new diet plan, without taking Protein supplement yet. Gained 1.5KG+. smile.gif
Going to get supplement soon to boost up powahh!

I am not too sure about this.... but I think you should really do your calories counted each meal. It must be frustrating, since I am a guy too, and I know watching out at the numbers everytime you eat is atrocious. Find the calories calculator and try achieving around 2800 calories a day. And by going to the gym... Are you doing cardio? If yes, please stop.... Only do weights. And again, 4-5 meals should do the trick.

I am on my way of gaining weight too. 170cm 53.5 kg. Just did some research, and that's my regime, trying to see if it works. Cheers!

for those 170cm height, weight shuld maintain around 60-70kg
for myself, my height 178cm and 74kg = average summore got tummy aswell ...just like 2month pregnant jor >.<

btw, im consider skinny back in 2010 January, my weight was just around 160+kg
and within a few month, my weight gain like hell ...thank for my gf ....

opinion, your weight will easy to increase at age 23-27+

I am 22 yrs old, 3-6 months ago my weight is 47kg height 176cm.then become 52-53kg. I ate lots snacks in between breakfast and lunch, lunch to dinner.
Even until I have to see foods.. Now, I just take regular meals, and seems my weight decreasing again, so waste of money and supplement.

btw, have u guys ever heard http://stronglifts.com/gomad-milk-squats-gallon-gain-weight/? anyone tried? May I know the result?

You guys need to know the correct way of gaining weight. Eating junk food and lots of food only wouldn't really help. Weight gaining products also can't help much. Have to exercise as well and combine everything together. Go look thru some threads here on this forum which has help many guys gain weight.

depends on yr height also,if u 50kg but the height of 150cm u count the BMI i think its normal. for me i weigh about 57kg~ about there with height of 170cm++ ppl say im thin.but my BMI told me im slightly normal

Hi.. Im kenny.. Im 170cm n 52kg.. Started my Weight gain plan last year.. Im Drinking weight gain product for a few months d.. Still not much diff.. My weight differ from time to time between 50 to 53.. I never give up on gaining weight.. Awes been positive about it.. I had stomach problem recently n makes me can consume heavy meal..

I had done some research N i like to share with u all.. But it depends on certain ppl la.. V nid to consume at least 2000 calories per day in order to gain weight.. N exercise regularly.. So eat more!! Enjoy food!! XD

im skinny too..in fact, everytime i met someone.. they said "hey, why u so skinny?" vmad.gif

so i try this diet that requires u too eat 6 meals a day
and once i met my grandma..and she said, "hey, u look little bit chubby" rolleyes.gif
i'm so happpy..never once ppl said to me like that.. laugh.gif

my boyfriend has the same problem!

we always eat those fattening food like carbonara and mcd but instead of him gaining weight i gain myself when i only ate a little bit from it.
super frustrating.
LOL

he also tried all ways but he is still 51kg.
its in his gene i think, his dad, and 2 brothers are also thin.

Underweight for your height. at your age now, you should be able to put on kg without any problem.

You sleep the regular hour or your are on vampire time zone ?

I notice those vampire even sleeping enough 8/24 still have problem with putting on the meat.

Occassionally.. Lol.. Once a week i guess.. But i do workout at home with my dumbbell.. hopefully can gain some weight by the end of the year..

TS : Simple.

Eat double up than regular food.
The start doing exercise every morning.... Push up and Jump rope.

Last time I also 50KG not gain any weight for 5 years.

I usually jump rope, the easiest exercise which i do daily, eat well, 5- 6 meals per day, sleep well, but yet can't gain weight...50 Kg for 5 years too =(

That particluar supplements are only meant for increasing your appetize,
but then i do have the mood to eat and eat! i can even eat twice amount of food per serving.
sometimes, i do wonder about the possibility of the presence of tapeworms in intestines which could take up the nutrients etc

gene or fast metobolism is a myth. use to be thin as well. 173cm and 55kg since age of 18 until 25. tried to eat alot (i though alot but actually not) like i can eat 2big bowl of rice every lunch n dinner but i skipped breakfast most of the time. eat junk food, supper everyday, its all useless. until i have proper diet like eat clean food most of the time, 5 meals a day, consistent compound exercise, i'm now 67kg at age of 28, without protein powder or any suppliment! consistent is the key. and do as what hoxy mentioned.

Me also lor 172cm 50kg only. Walao. So thin. Now planning to swim every 5 days per weeks to build up my muscle. Cause 1 of the good benefit of swimming is you will use some muscle in your body that you never train before. Like we go gym we only practice some parts of our body. Swimming used the whole part of your body~ And by the way, after swim you will eat plenty of food because you just burned certain amount of your CALORIES. Didnt noticed we will feel very hungry after swim?? Compare with others sports. Haha. Planning to drink protein shake too. The doctor said to me you cant just buy the APPETON and drink it only. You have to work out and drink it so it will help your muscle more easily absorb and provide energy for you to work out. So for those people's who dont like to go gyming. Come join me for swim @.@

Hi...i'm 175cm and weight 68kg. Just have to add more about 4kg. Last 3 months my weight is at 63kg.

The bottomline here you have to small meals but frequently around 5-6 times daily. Drinks alot of water, if we feel thirsty that means we a dehydrate. Dehydrate means lost weight.

Also the important thing is to sleep early. Enough sleep will help your body to feel relax, thus help your body to consume all vitamins and protein from your daily meal.

but frequently i weighing i always got 47 or 48...
4 me im ok with my weight couse i am not tall in height..
my height is somewhere around 16xcm im not sure..

Go to the gym and work out with a trainer if you are starting out.

And of course, eat 5-6 meals a day.

If you continue to eat like that, you should hit the peak of your BMI by 30s
Even with regular exercise.

To donate blood, minimum weight is 45kg, good health, enough sleep and other requirements.

If you have discomfort then see doctor at the same time ask about worms inside digestive system.
After doctor diagnose, if necessary there are de-worming prescription you can take.

Also person in good health with good lifestyle and eating would not gaining excessive weight either. Maybe you are normal.
