From my dealings with OCBC, they are a very prudent lot, if you get that rate better just wait for ur other banker's reply while appealing which is tough even tougher is the tight timeline you need to meet.

I submitted by 17/5 last tuesday so far no reply yet from bank....

just sign the loan offer letter, now waiting to sign the S&P

eh....sign the loan offer letter and S&P is not same time meh??

can i ask... what is the rate that Banks offer to you? Which bank ?

Lawyer need the loan offer letter to draft the S&P. It should take a few more days.

Added on May 25, 2011, 1:25 pmI taking loan from AmBank, and the rate is -2.2%. Camy do a great job, from submit the document until sign the offer letter took about 6 working days.

somemore, yesterday a Standard Charted guy call me telling me that they are panel bank for this Amara project too.. anyone can confirm with the developer??

if you dont mind me asking, which bank you applied to?

I just received call from Ambank saying that my application has been approved...

But yesterday only i submit another application to OCBC because company staffs can enjoy special BLR rate...

Do you guys think i have sufficient time to settle everything(loan approval,offer letter,SPA) within 2 weeks if i want to take the OCBC loan..?
