I am staying in Ipoh. My pc on streamyx 4Mbps but cannot even reach google.com. Web page generates error 404.

Whatever their offering, I have no more confidence in TM.

I am on 4MB package, when I got 218.x.x.x ip range, I have no internet problem.

When I got 175.145.x.x. ip range, I cant browse internet at all. now everyday got this 175 ip address.

logged report to tm more than 15 times and at last they ask me to upgrade to fixed ip package, lol, w*t*f

I've been on the RM88 4mb unipack plan.
Now the 24 month contract is ending.
I heard that we can continue with it.

Should I continue with this or go on and install my RM118 10mb Maxis plan?

I'm really satisfied with this 4mb.
It's more than enough for me as I only use internet for work.
I hardly download and dont play games at all.
It's really stable. Never give me any headache.

Then when I look over at the Unifi or Maxis thread, there seems to be a lot of problems.

Don't know what to do.
Maxis installer will come in mid September.
I dont need IPTV.
I still can cancel it but Im still on the fence.
Is it worth it to pay RM30 extra for a 6mb more speed?
But then get a potential headache..

no more RM118 plan for Maxis 10mbps fibre any more. Its now RM138/month (for Maxis postpaid customers) RM148/month (for all others customers). Read herefor more information.

Added on September 2, 2012, 8:48 pmhave you just tried the simple solution that whenever you get 175.xxx you just turn off your modem/router and restart and relogin?

once get the ip you want...just make sure don't turn off...haha...

i will try to monitor as well if 175.xx will give slow browsing issue...

Sometime it just took me more than 1 hour to just sat down to off-on modem to get ip other than 175.x.x.x range...
