but if u want to remove SE default apps like Timescape, u'll need to root ur phone- dload Titanium Backup from market..

2nd prob - can u browse ur sdcard content from ur pc? if not, i bet u havent mount ur sdcard....

I can access evertyhing from pc,but when i try to copy files into it,then the its says couldnt find the specific path. what dou meant by mount sdcard? :|

AFAIK gprs/edge is only power conserving on standby, but if u use them for data, 3g is less power consuming as it takes less time to transfer the same data as compared to edge meaning less load on the modem as well. Wifi would definitely be the least power-consuming.

And talking about battery life, android has a different way of handling background data so the best bet is turning it off when not in use which can be easily toggled with power control widgets. With background data disabled battery life would definitely last longer. Of course gingerbread would further improve power consumption. Also bear in mind that our battery percentage is just an approximate which may or may not be the actual level displayed, for instance after 3 hours the battery suddenly drops 9% is the same as the battery percentage dropping 3% every hour for 3 hours, it does happen sometimes but doesn't necessarily mean it would drain up in 10th hours as it purely depends on what you use your phone for

if u can browse ur sdcard from ur pc but cannot drag n drop any files into it, then i have no idea bro..
never heard of such problem.. maybe u can try reformating ur sdcard and see if it helps..

Yeah..i thought the same too..maybe i shud format the sdcard..theres not much files inside anyway.

Is xperia arc a big improvement over xperia x10?? Bcause the specs looks similar , just a few new changes . N now x10 got 2.3 also later

-The camera is better in low-lighted conditions.
-The graphics Adreno 205 in Arc performs almost 2x faster than Andreo 200 in X10. (Seen in Neocore benchmark)


So i'll say X10 would be still worth the $$ at RM11XX AP set

Totally depends on you.

in layman's term, Arc improves a lot in display(bravia) and camera(Exmor)...
other than that, its just a soup up X10 in a new casing...

to test n see how long does the battery last if standby on 2g/3g/wifi respectively..
some say, wifi consume the least energy during standby and bla bla.. but the difference is too little for us to notice i guess... yg penting, it consume power... settle...hhahah... no need prove

Yeah, that's exactly wat I mean, can ur phone go into standby mode and go way long to 420hours without charging?

I'm going to wait and see if there's any problem with stock 2.3 when it's released. If there are none, I'm going to get myself an X10. Love the design and the current price
