locked means telco lock, rite?
then yes, i read it somewhere in XDA that its just a simple flashing to the global firmware should do the trick... u can check XDA forum yourself for double confirmation... |

SE havent come up with Gingerbread for X10, and there u go, TripnRaver has released Gimgerbread Based MIUI...
most of the important stuffs works, except camera... cant wait till the final version comes up... |

yeah.. make sure update to latest Official SE firmware using SEUS
Connect to PC using USB and use PC companion... that should be good enough... but if u want to view flash in web browsing, the only way for that is to upgrade to Froyo 2.2... but thats a different whole story.. come back here if u decided to go rogue with custom firmware....heheh... most of us here are more than happy to help you out, but make sure you read the first page first... askin the same question is a BIG NO NO here.. |

For battery that it less than 2weeks old (new)....
keyword - full cycle charging at least 3-5 times before it can perform to its max capacity.... u should also google how to improve battery life for X10... there's a lot out there... just type "improve battery X10" and press enter |

out of curiosity, i set my phone to normal standby..
no data connection, no calls and no sms... 1% lasted for 4hours!! wow... that really shows how data connection eats ur battery a lot cos i normally get max 1-1.5% per hour... |

to test n see how long does the battery last if standby on 2g/3g/wifi respectively..
some say, wifi consume the least energy during standby and bla bla.. but the difference is too little for us to notice i guess... yg penting, it consume power... settle...hhahah... no need prove |
