Hi,
I have a prob after flashing my SGA from Froyo to GB. My phone now cannot detect any 3G network / data package. I can only use it to make a call and normal SMS only. My question;
1. How i can reflashed back to froyo again? Any recommended shop to do that in KL / Selangor area. 2. Anyone encounter prob like me here? Any suggestion.
Thanks

Haven't tried updating to 2.3 myself yet, but if I'm not mistaken, the 2.3 release now is only a leak and not an official release. Menu > Settings > Application settings > Manage applications Or download the app named "App 2 SD Free" Some apps cannot be moved from the phone to SD card, but you can move them if your phone is rooted and has the "Move2SD Enabler" application installed.

QUOTE(MerzadNazmi @ Apr 28 2011, 08:52 PM) i think it means screen of death. when ur phone turns off and cannot turn on unless u take out the battery first. been having my phone for 2months. no SOD's reported! ^^ maybe just plain luck but I am still using the older factory DXKA9 baseband version. try changing to the old one guys! good luck! That's what I've been trying to tell everyone. Older firmware versions don't get SODs. Usually the ones complaining are the ones with DXKC1. This post has been edited by amio: Apr 29 2011, 01:32 AM

The filter only works for your current viewing. It will reset again when you exit and re-enter logs.

I have the phone for a month and a half... only experienced SOD once, few days after getting the phone still on DXKA1, my friend was playing with the phone and pressed the power button at the side to turn off the display before returning to me, SOD. wi-fi was turned on. thought it was due to low battery, so i plugged in the charger... still SOD. so pulled out battery..put in battery, turned on and charged. after this one incident, no more SOD as of now.
btw, i have upgraded firmware to DXKC1 and rooted my phone with SOC 1.7...

My wife still ok, not facing any SOD with DXKC1. She just stay at home, not working, just being a baby sitter for our baby. So, I don't subscribe data plan for her. I don't set APN. She just can go internet when I back to the home and make my Galaxy S as an internet access point (AP). Maybe coz she don't heavily use the internet, then she don't facing any SOD yet.
