hello guy, I just installed PapaGo on my Ace. The problem is.. how to use it? I want try set destination but I don't know how to set them. Can anybody teach me or provide me some guide to use this apps?

does it use data charges, if we on the GPS and use papago navigation?

For short. rooting let you gain access administrator right that is locked by the phone company by default. by rooting let you able to modify the system which suppose to be locked to avoid people mess up the system and render it useless.
The most common thing for people to root it is for moving those app/games that can't be moved to memory card by default which.eat up main storage which is phone inner storage. some people wanted to used custom/personnel rom that suite their usage and even some people want to use custom theme for the phone. by right, for those don't know to use it should avoid it as it will void your phone warrany if you mess up. You no need to root if you are a normal users.

Add on: even if you moved your application to your memory card doesn't mean will free up all the phone memory as there will be package data left over at phone memory for it to run.

This is what I know about rooting. it may vary from the actual info

Seems like alot people having this same problem too.

I reset my phone but problem still persists. It was the original firmware KB1 back then.

I just updated to KC1 through kies yesterday. Till now no wifi problems ... yet ? 

Anyway, after I updated to KC1 I had my first SOD.
It was really weird. From 3 am > 10 am today. My battery drained from ~60% to 14% after i pulled out battery and restarted my phone.
My phone felt very warm as well. 

Going to try it out for a few more days now. If problem still stays maybe I'm gonna send to samsung repair center

Hmmm. Based on my experience... better not first. Whilst typing this my phone just rebooted itself for no apparent reason

Anyone notice that the arrangement of applications in the application there change after the phone has restarted?

That's what I've been trying to tell everyone. Older firmware versions don't get SODs. Usually the ones complaining are the ones with DXKC1.

Anyone using Garmin GPS android 2.x with their SGA or is everyone using Papago X5.

Not for me. Seems like your case is pretty rare bro. First time I've heard someone saying problems with their audio jack 
Using Papago X5    Works like a charm. Although sometimes getting a lock on the satellite can be quite slow. ( can be solved with applications that help with satellite locking i guess.)

I used to use GPSFix last time. Works well for me 

I heard there's one more app called GPS Aids V2. It works for samsung galaxy S series, and requires root access. You might wanna give it a try    I'm not sure if it'll work on ace though. Good luck !
