I have not found info so far if anybody manage to recover the phone until this state.

You are safe if you don't mess with things that you are not 100% sure.
Depends on why you need root access in the first place.
To be safe, keep away from things mentioning ROM and flash.

Enabling Darktremor A2SD on Samsung Galaxy ACE...
The instruction on backing up the phone not properly followed.
I got deceived by the ROM Manager and my own understanding.
Expensive lesson learned...

But the SGA has been quite reliable for me. My iPhone friends feels most functions has been ported nicely on the Android when they play with my phone.

Fyi the Galaxy Ace production is split into 2 batches i.e 1st batch and 2nd batch. Only the 2nd batch comes with 2 back covers. Even mine has only 1 wink.gif

Guys, I'm having force close problems when browsing certain parts of the Android market like "Widgets" and "Just in" under the Games section. Once I start scrolling an error appears and it force closes. Is it just me or are there anyone else facing the same problem? We

Try install this apps too not bad. : 'gingerbread keyboard '

with the gingerbread keyboard, still can use swype a? damn loving that method! i'll sacrifice if it means getting to use swype

i think it means screen of death. when ur phone turns off and cannot turn on unless u take out the battery first. been having my phone for 2months. no SOD's reported! ^^ maybe just plain luck but I am still using the older factory DXKA9 baseband version. try changing to the old one guys! good luck!

If i'm not mistaken, the camera cannot zoom when it's in 5 mp mode. try lowering the megapixel settings then try zooming again. smile.gif

ya ya...it happen to me also. Everytime need to rearrange one by one...so xian leh...
