Logit85 i think u should buy the Dragon ball z english version dvd to learn and improved ur english from there . Do it for ur own good.

hi guys, astro changed my decoder n satellite dish to Beyond due to previous decoder got problem in receiving....is this decoder capable to have HD channel when I subscribe to HD or they are going to change another new unit?

My company just installed astro. It was the new decoder for beyond but the installer did not use HDMI cable and he told me that we can't use HDMI because we did not subscript to HD package. Is that true ? I tried to check the setting page and the HDMI option was "off" .

No HD ,NO HDMI port !

Stupid Astro .. why disable this when the decoder hardware support it ? The HDMI port just make our life easier to connect the LCD TV with just one cable.

It is all about money...if you want it, you must pay it.

Try to use ur own hdmi cable

Plan to upgrade to beyond.

Hse now got 2 astro card. If
1st card (downstair) - beyond card & decoder
2nd card (upstair) - normal card & decoder

Can beyond card read on normal decoder?
Can normal card read on beyond decoder?

called on last Monday to upgrade both my decoders to Beyond.. but still waiting for them to install... can't wait!!

after 4 days

Astro personnel finally came and replace my decoder to a new one

they say that maybe there's a faulty on the board plus it's lifetime warranty, just call and they replace it with a new one ASAP

i don't care if it took them 4 days to replace my decoder

at least i can enjoy my TV and HD channel again
