I also suggest they reduce the size of the remote control as it is larger than the old one.

Not kno abt Toshiba...mine is a Samsung.
Mayb look into Picture Settings/Advanced Settings or similar?

A few questions here. Pls help to clarify. TQ in adv. :

1. Btw How do we set to record a Series eg AOD serial, using PVR?
2. Settings in Installation show only 1 LNB ie Universal type. Astro saving $$ connecting 2 cables to only ONE LNB?
3. One input Signal is stated as "Locked" while the 2nd input is "Unlocked". I rber-ed both were "Locked" after Installer left...
4. Set 2auto record movie fr abt 12:35 -1:35 BUT this morning found only 30 min of movie recorded!! Frus! Any1 kno wat went wrong?

Sorry to kacau but only had 2 days with new Beyond PVR. Will b grateful for any help...TQ!!

4. Happen 2 me too. In my case its raining that nite. Suppose 2be 2 1/2 hour movie, lost signal after 45 min recording. Found out that mornin and have 2 scheduled it again. Hmmm.

Re using Series Link, the only SL is when press yellow button for Sort in Planner. Kenot find anywhere else la.

Yellow "tick-like" symbols are displayed for all episodes of series but....

Read somewhere to press Rec button 2X but doesn't work either.

Can pls give step by step how 2do so? TQ in adv.

Re Only 30 min rec of movie, possibly... Dunno cos me in deep Zzz oledi! Haha! No repeat of that movie this week... Hope got nxt week so can try agin.

KUALA LUMPUR, 16 Julai – Atasi segera gangguan siaran semasa hujan atau hadapi tindakan undang-undang, demikian tegas Menteri Penerangan, Komunikasi dan Kebudayaan Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim kepada Astro.

Beliau berkata rungutan rakyat mengenai masalah itu telah dimaklumkan kepada stesen televisyen berbayar itu yang berjanji untuk mengatasi masalah berkenaan.

Dipetik Bernama Online, Rais berkata, Suruhanjaya Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia (SKMM) mungkin terpaksa mengambil tindakan ‘teknikal’ susulan memandangkan masalah itu menyebabkan pelanggan kerugian dari segi minit dan jumlah masa tontonan sedangkan bayaran fi berdasarkan minit siaran.

“Hal ini sedang dikaji oleh Astro dan mereka perlu segera atasinya. Jika berterusan tidak menerima isyarat (semasa siaran) ia merupakan satu ketidakadilan kepada rakyat dan penonton,” katanya kepada pemberita selepas menghadiri program merakyatkan seni budaya anjuran Persatuan Penduduk Ampang Jaya di Kelab Darul Ehsan di sini.

Rais berkata antara aspek perundangan yang boleh diambil ialah menilai semula bayaran lesen penyiaran bagi syarikat tersebut.

“Atau pun pihak berkenaan perlu memberikan kelonggaran dari sudut bayaran fi... bab itu sedang diteliti oleh penguatkuasa undang-undang,” katanya.

Berhubung iklan yang didakwa terlalu banyak ditayangkan Astro, Rais berkata, perkara itu sentiasa diberi perhatian oleh SKMM dan setakat ini jumlah minit iklan yang ditayangkan tidak melebihi jumlah ditetapkan.

Beliau berkata kerajaan tidak menghalang penyiaran iklan di Astro kerana ia berlandaskan kepada syarat dalam lesen.

Jumlahnya hendaklah tidak lebih daripada 10 minit bagi setiap jam di setiap saluran.

“Di Malaysia kita bermula dengan enam ke 10 minit bagi sejam rancangan dan saya yakin pada masa ini SKMM sedang meneliti jumlah minit iklan di Astro agar tidak melebihi had 10 minit yang dibenarkan bagi setiap sejam rancangan,” katanya.

Sebelum ini pemantauan SKMM juga menujukkan Astro tidak menayangkan terlalu banyak iklan komersil, malah secara purata masa iklan yang digunakan oleh Astro hanyalah 19 hingga 20 peratus atau 46-50 minit daripada 240 minit masa yang dibenarkan untuk mereka menyiarkan iklan komersil dalam sehari.

Ok, Try this.
1. Go to any aod channel, i.e ch 903.
2. Press TV button to go to the tv guide.
3. Let say now 10pm, go to 1am show of Ep1 Wax and Wayne, press OK.
4. U will see this option from top to bottom (set reminder, record, series link).
4. Choose the series link option. Then it will automatically set to record all the episode of the series. selamat mencuba. 

Suggestion: Try 2call Astro Cust Serv on 3rd day after. Find out which Installer has been assigned to do the Installation. Request for his contact nos. (H/P, Office, Home Tel?)
Then contact the Installer directly 2come 4installation on nxt working day.

Added on July 23, 2011, 6:42 pmps. Can share & compare the Sat. Signal value? Mine is 154 for each terminal (PVR).
First terminal fluctuates fr 151 to 154 whereas the 2nd one steady @154 most of the time.

Also 1st Terminal is "Locked" but 2nd is "UNlocked"! It was BOTH "Locked" on activation y'day but found it's changed now.

Can anyone pls clarify why the difference?

Hv yu all noticed that some HD Ch are NOT always showing HD fare but actually only SD ones? Eg Lifestyle, Sundance, Discovery World??
