Folks, need your help here. I'm contemplating to move to Byond.
Wanted to check, on the normal Byond Box, can I use both output, at the same time meaning the hdmi and Video-AV.? The reason I'm asking I dont plan to take up the Astro DVR, but would like to record some programs time to time. Currently I'm recording using a VCR, yeah yeah I know its out dated technology!  SO on the new byond box can I continue the same? Thanks |

BTW, is there a real necessity to change the coaxial cable from the disc to the box? WHat are the cons using he same?

What I was told is, in order to get beyong Hardware (box and disk), you need to upgrade from Astro to Byond and subscribe to HD for a year (RM20) after that you could cancel the HD.
You cant upgrade fro Astro to non HD Byond. |

 Just registered yesterday, they should be contacting me in a week. Anything that I need to be aware of, or take precaution. One problem I see is my wiring, since its concealed, about 10 feet length.  |

Folks, for Byond, do they use the same RG6 cable? I thought reading somewhere the cable should be changed, which is bigger not sure that is the spec....your feedback is appreciated

My first impression, there aint much difference between SD with Byond and the normal older box. Infact the older box, looked much better.
The others...I still need time to play around....lets see |
