HSBC called me last two weeks ago saying they are offering me a gold cc. What an insult.

I don't mind they offering me a gold card but with CL of RM100k

How they got your contact number?

as i know no bank in msia is given gold card cl rm100k

you don't know does not mean there aren't gold cards with CL over RM100K CL. click here to see RHB CL at my post titled Malaysia Annual Income Requirement and Credit Limit. Gold Card CL go up up to RM500K!

I used to have an Advance account with them, yet they called to offer me a gold cc. Goodbye HSBC.

Has anyone had any luck getting their charges waived by HSBC for late payment?

I transferred money from my current to savings acc. stupidly thinking the automated CC payment would still go through - it didn't and I got charged around RM70.

I did explain this to them once they called me to inform me that my account was overdue.

I'm going to call in the next couple of days, see if I can get the charge waived, just wanted to see if anyone has had any experience with this with HSBC?

How do you do that? I have the MC Gold and the Signature on the same due date but the Amanah Plat is a week earlier, I'd like to syncronise everything the same due date which will definitely make my life much easier.

Just give them a call to adjust the date...Simple.........

By the way, received my Plat Card

i did get my late charges waived as i'm oversea when the payment date is due....

during overseas, you got use the cc to prove that you not in malaysia?

HSBC now have promotion that upgrade our card to Gold without any approver.

i got my RM3k limit Platinum card already..... i think ur classic ard CL also higher than me.

this is really a shock to me RM3k for a plat card @@.

i jz received my HSBC card before raya. I haven't use it, nor take the card out from the letter. but after I read this thread, I feel like to terminate the card already.. can i do that??

I just got the cashback this month statement. I also don't know how I get it but I do purchase luggage during Mega Sale. Luggage cost RM500+ and cashback was RM75

I have a problem with classic. Last month the payment due (auto pay with advance acc) is 13k. However at that time im overseas, and i need the CL to pay for hotel,car etc, so i manually transfer from my acc to cc as payment. i paid like 9k, left 4k left to pay. I thought the system will still take 4k from my acc, but it didnt. It shows "payment 13k" and "payment return 13k" so end up i kena a finance charge rm40. Can i argue it and get it waive? Rm40 i can go for a good dinner
