I have a question... hope you guys can help me. Yesterday i got approach by the sales guy and he offered the HSBC Amanah Platinum with cash back features... if lets say I use this card after a while as my salary increase and all, can I ask to upgrade to the HSBC Visa Signature?
Or is HSBC & HSBC Amanah is totally different entity? |

Yeah. They are different. If you already have the HSBC Amanah Platinum and you wish to get the HSBC VISA Signature after a while, you will need to send in a fresh application. Do note that you may still keep your HSBC Amanah Platinum after your new application for HSBC VISA Signature is approved.Or is HSBC & HSBC Amanah is totally different entity? |

I have a classic with CL 14k, expire in nov. Will the new gold upgrade keep the CL and renew it?
What i like about hsbc is the frequent cashback activities. |

This month I did not receive my HSBC statement and by the time I realized it, my payment due date have past. So called up HSBC to check if I got any payment due and the answer is yes. So made payment last week and today called up HSBC to request for Late Penalty Charges and Interest Charges and the CS said he'll do it for just this once.
Having too many cards also headache |

Set reminder on your phone or just use a 555 book note down all your credit card with payment due date every month, mark down those credit card that already paid for that month then you will have a clearer picture which CC have not been paid on the particular month. I always do this to avoid late payment charges Having too many cards also headache |

Try to make the statement date as same as possible so that you can remember when is your late due date to pay up all. This is what I doing now.Having too many cards also headache |

QUOTE(nokiaXP @ Sep 21 2011, 03:03 PM) In most cases once. If you are lucky or if the person is in a good mood - two.Beyond that then consider yourself rejected already because they will consider not answering the phone call as a possible risk. Don't blame the bank because in actual fact there is a lot of cases where card applicants gave false contact information. Bank don't want to waste time because you are not the only person which they need to call (hundreds of applications/call need to be done per day) and there's daily KPI which they have to meet. Miss the call then it's good bye to your card application. |
