One more thing, how i can i check my free 100 min calls left over, as i tried to call few frens, but it still deducted on my credit straight away...haiz ... is this free call only to umobile or to other network as well?

What u mean by roaming bro? Anyway i checked UM website , it says " These may be utilized for calls to any network, anywhere in Malaysia " .. I have no idea why ur credit being deducted =.= ANyway cause i thought i wont be using 500mb of data so i din subscribe, however I on the 3G, when i realised overnight when I wake up in the morning RM1 gone already, probably due to the connection and reconnection of the 3G line, my phone shows only usage data of 200kb though, they should only charge me 5 cents =.= So now I off the 3G la use 2G only dun bother.. Wasting money if I on it ..

About the data charging, I suspect the Pay as you Use charging is not so straightforward and they may start charging at each connection.

This would mean, for example, if you running a background program that goes online every 5 mins to check for updates, then even each time it connects it's only use a few 10kb or whatever, it would charge 5 sens each time.

Then one hour will cost 60 sens, even the total data may be only a few hundred kb or less.

Anyone know for sure?

Yeah I know. So now I off my 3G and only on it when I need to. But then all my mails and whatsapp not pushed anymore. It's okay for me cause I'm covered by wifi at most times. Just afraid during driving got emergency.

My OS is slow because fully loaded with apps, so the 3G on/off widget is also sometimes slow to respond. Sometimes I don't realize I have switched it a few times until I check balance and lost multiple 5 sen blocks, easily 50 sen, and didn't download anything!

if you have app that set to auto software updates, that will consume a lot of data. I got the same shock at first, until I set everything to manual software updates. Also, you can save money by switching off unused app.

I spend no more than $0.70 if I have no wifi for that day. With wifi, I spend $0.

yeap mine also sometime roaming to celcom if umobile signal around 1 bar... i think it's normal...

100 mins can't check, u need to use software...
if symbian, there's a built-in software under call log...
if android, need to dload this... crack carik sendiri... kakakaka...
at day 1st, reset all outgoing calls & SMS to zero... then monitor it...
take note, call to umobile is 30secs per block, call to other than umobile is 60secs per block...
so u need to have a buffer unless u call exactly per block which i believed no one in the world can do it... hahaha...
the software monitor based on min/sec NOT per block... still searching a software that can convert min/sec to per block but couldn't find one...

so if umobile give 100mins free call, u should call around 60mins only, 40mins is buffer to play safe...
unless u've a lot of contacts using umobile network, mine only 2-3 people is using umobile, the rest is non-umobile so majority i'll be charged 60sec per block...
when reached 60mins, then after that use office phone or ur wife/gf phone to make a call...

for SMS ok la, it straight fwd...

what happens if i exceed 500mb already... then my speed reduced right? can i just pay RM28 again when i have exceeded my usage in order to get my speed back up?

yup ur speed will be reduced but if not mistaken u can't just pay RM28 to get ur normal speed back...
u need to wait until its auto-reload (complete 30days cycle), hence use ur data plan wisely...
