QUOTE(digilife @ Aug 2 2011, 09:43 PM) correction yes, the point is i'm talking about investor (forumer upstairs here) who buy the sim pack and found there is no Um 3G signal at his houseinternet at celcom's Edge/Gprs is when there is no Umobile 3G coverage, if u are in the heart of KL of if u are in a UM3G area , u can surf at top speed up to 42Mbps, but your fon can maximum support 10Mbps currently on some models and the best thing is that, if you topup rm300 now u can call any umobile lines (inclusive of MNP lines) for 300days free , 60mins a day and thats more, if u topup rm50 ( via coupon ) u get rm10 free KFC meal voucher too so he need to go out to kfc to get decent internet signal, and i suppose there is free wifi there anyway btw, i'm vegetarian This post has been edited by dgboy: Aug 2 2011, 10:08 PM |

QUOTE(kousou @ Aug 2 2011, 01:40 AM) i went KL last week ard Bukit Bintang area but i cant manage to switch from celcom to u3g...can anyone provide me wit the way of switching it? im a umobile user but i cant seem to get the way to switch it... if you want to test it, there's two ways1 set Network Selection to Manual instead of Auto, do a network search and select Umobile 3G if it is on the list 2 other way, set Network Mode to 3G/UMTS only, then see if your phone got any signal however, do not leave your phone set like this settings, it is just an easy way to check for 3G signal This post has been edited by dgboy: Aug 2 2011, 10:18 PM |

good question
from the TnC, it seems there is no grace period: 4.8 Your Account will be maintained until the relevant expiry date. The validity period of the credit in your Account varies depending on the value of the credit you buy via the Top-Up Voucher. You must add new credit to your Account before the expiry date otherwise your Account will be terminated and your credit forfeited. If this happens, your mobile telephone number will be withdrawn immediately without any prior notice from us. We are not liable to you for any damages, cost, loss or expenses suffered as a result of the termination of your Account or the Services. This post has been edited by dgboy: Aug 9 2011, 10:43 PM |

DiGi is certainly behind on prepaid data charges
simply not affordable for continuous light usage since it adds up to RM 60-90 per month with their new lower cost postpaid data plans, i hope DiGi will do something similar for prepaid soon at least with DiGi, the speed tend to be consistent |

many hps you can set the voicemail number to an USSD code
then you just "press" and "hold" the "1" button on your phone to check your status, etc |

QUOTE(hebe87 @ Nov 1 2011, 08:17 PM) if its corruption in HLR database, it should affect 2g domestic roaming services only right? but the 3g services were also affected it would affect both 2g and 3g service2g scores in the recovery process as the authentication is simpler and less secure than under 3g |
