may i know this U-Mobile prepaid internet is really unlimited? how is the speed? my place is around bt tinggi port klang here, so how the coverage?

curently using hotlink prepaid,
every week topup RM15 for hotlink hot tiket, in this RM15 i get 50minute talk time + 150 sms. so 1 month speding RM60. this hotlink hot tiket no any unlimited internet usage. 

that why thinking of change to other prepaid service that offer me unlimited internet usage, and this U-mobile comes across my mind    but u all know i sms alot, my current spending is around 150-200 SMS per week, i less call people    just more on sms.

so wonder U-mobile got any service same like hotlink hot tiket?

I read 'most' of the page here and some recommended get the 'prepaid' RM10 first.

But question is, what if the line is soso ok?...Does it reflect on the 3G I'll be getting when I subscribe to the RM28 plan?

Test the coverage in your area with the Prepaid card under Rate plan @ $0.30/mb (new number).  If you like it, then MNP your Hotlink number to umobile.

This is what I did for my Digi line previously.  Now I have already MNP to umobile and I am quite happy with its speed (JB) and cheap rate.  But I still stick on to rate plan cuz my usage is low and whenever I am at home, I use home Wifi which does not cost me a penny 

So now they're charging 30 sen per mb?

No doubt reload coupon expires in 2013, but the KFC coupon expires in Jul 2012.  So if you buy many, better first take out the KFC coupons and eat till' you drop ....

MNP last friday, until today still no news. Not even notification of the request to MNP..

Called U mobile but no answer from the phone. haih.....

Is it possible to terminate MNP ?

Be prepared to hold on the line for as long as half an hour before someone answer your call.  I think they are under staff.  Better borrow someone's umobile line to call 1318 for free.

Alternatively, you can contact them online.  I've tried that and received reply within 24 hours.

yes, you are entitled for free call under this situation. free calls are for u mobile to u mobile, irrespective of whether they're on domestic roaming or not.

even calls from East Malaysia ~ Peninsula Malaysia (vice versa ) also free rite?

imagine how much if a Celcom subscriber were to call a Digi number this way....basically we are using Celcom's infrastructure in P Malaysia
