umobile is gonna piggyback as many telcos as they can i think... hahah

well... wads wrong with losing one day if u can get much better service in the future?? and for the price we are paying...
one month down one day also can lah! 60mins free calls one day somemore

larrytty, wats wrong with losing one day of network????

well i can tell u many things could go wrong..... if this is an upgrade, there should be a notice.... but upgrading works usually happen in wee hours... not at this kinda hours mind u......

which really comes to, "U" pay peanuts, 'U' get monkeys.....

I remembered that celcom also crashed their network nationwide during hari raya a few years ago. Anyone here still recall that ? That incident was even worse la ...on the eve of hari raya some more.... plus celcom have been around since 1992 ...

I'd say give some time to umobile to improve their services....else you could always have the choice of porting out to other telco companies if you're unwilling to stomach any downtime at all. Chill out bro ..

It does not concern me today since i do not use the U mobile as main line.

Also, my data usage also is not affected in the afternoon honestly speaking which i cannot explain why. rclxub.gif

However, it is indeed something that should not be happening, but they managed to get it back on the same day. So, i say i am cool with it.

prolexus, u from telco back ground ke.... can remember so well?? maybe umobile with celcom causes the crash.... which operator can i trust now leh???? any suggestion???

At last umobile CEO make apologizing about their network issue, where are those maxis, digi, celcom, tm CEO when their network is down?

so workers need to work during midnight la...
means the workers need to work outside working hours? for the upgrade? isnt it unfair for them too
if not happy then change to other network
or complain to them... doubt they will care as Um is providing one of the best services out there
and everyday more and more people MNP inwards

if not happy with um then i suggest u can mnp outwards

if im not wrong the MNP period now is 5 working days
working days is 5... if u did it on friday... u need wait till at least thursday or friday latest

i email one MNP case over to them yesterday abt 3pm, today the user emailed to me tat his sim ady deactivated although his new UM sim hav not reach via Pos Ekspress yet. doh.gif

this shows UM ady speeded up the MNP process tremendously after the downtime/"upgrades"
