QUOTE(glock88 @ Aug 5 2008, 07:58 PM) yea... i am sure... hehe yea... when running 500mhz NB core is around 50 degrees ad... lol. its unstable when around 1.3-1.4, i think my p5e can run 500 fsb at 1.45v nb, 1.35 can boot into window and orthos for 1 hour + then failed. work on your gtl ref and Vtt, most overclocks should work fine. Also not to forget your NB cooling

hmm kinda confused here, about multiplier..
400x9 and 450x8 y some people use 450x8? is it their mobo limiting their OC when they set it up to 450x9.. and how does it compare to 400x9? 450x8 need a higher speed of ram right? confusing now T_T.. need to clear this things up be4 i play with my multiplier.. now only play x9 multiplier T_T

Try below: FSB Memory clock mode - unlinked FSB (QDR) MHz - 1600 FSB Memory ratio - sync Vcore volt - 1.35 PCIE - auto or 105mhz make sure the Actual MEM (DDR) , MHz is 667 or 800 since i notice my abit nforce has some issue when the mhz is not 800 or 667, dunno this is due to the nforce chipset bugs or wat. Can any OC pro guide me on the voltage of the Vcore and Vdimm or the timing...?
currently using a CM sphere...i am very interested in overclocking but i am still new....
PLz help me out i am desperate to learn =)

wta: my rig is at my sig below, i manage to oc my proc from 333*8 to 400*8, without increasing any voltage, basically i just increase the fsb from 333 to 400. the problem now is, when i start my pc, the system will start, then dead about 2-3 second, then start normally(can go to windows and use it normally). this happen after i oc my system, and my question is, what voltage should i increase in order to make my system start normally, no more dead in between?

IMO ur dual boot case is quite normal... it happens to my rig all the time n i got no problem from it so far... if u wana push for clocks, always go with vcore first... a penryn shud be able to do it no problem by increasing vcore alone under 500fsb....
