QUOTE(tkh_1001 @ Aug 25 2008, 07:45 PM) actually 1.38v not consider high yet la....iirc 65nm can go till 1.5v but since ur temp is high then too bad already.... might have to get a better cooler... normally u just push with vcore 1st to get a clock.... once the clock wont go up anymore no matter what vcore u push, then start tweaking Vfsb or Vnb lo... but vfsb n vnb don suka suka add la... vfsb too high can kill ur proc.... erm..C1E and EIST didnt disable? tanya la the pro in msn so u guys disable the c1e and eist????? at last i just stayed at 3ghz@1.365v but the temp on load is max 67'c so im pretty happy with that.

QUOTE(zubai @ Sep 12 2008, 10:35 PM) Guys, I'm abit frustrated on my oc. Rite now I'm doing 3.35GHz @ 1.45 vcore, already tried lower vcore, not stable. This is the minimum vcore for my oc and still failed occt after abt 5 hours, lower setting failed in minutes. Does my ram have to do abt my stability issues, or I simply got a bad batch? Fenin2... if its failed at lower vcore pump more vcore into it. like my 2180 when i oc it to 3ghz it only need 1.365 but when i oc it to 3.2ghz it needs 1.425.from 2 to 3ghz just need extra 0.02v but another 200mhz increase require another 0.06v.

QUOTE(Kuntau @ Oct 16 2008, 04:30 PM) Hi guys.. Unfortunately CPUZ still showing only x8 multiplier after I disable all those CPU feature.. It detect correct in BIOS tho ( 333 x 8.5 = 2.83GHz) but in Windows it is (333 x 8 = 2.66GHz) only. Or CPU-Z give me wrong value? What else I can use other than CPU-Z? Thanks by reading ur statement there i suppose u use the wolfdale proc but cpuz cannot detect the .5 multiplier. its either u have to flash ur mobo bios to the latest one or u use the old cpuz.
