guys, i plan to take VIP 20, would premium channel included in the package?
*
Not anymore, only for early birds who subscribed last year during the first few months of Unifi since its launch.
They even tried to take back the premium channels from us.
Only the initial premium channels are free to us early adopters of VIP20 though..

Currently thinking of getting VIP5...

my house landed..  my telephone Pole at the back of my house, but My tv console, as usual, infront in the living room....

what you guys think?  they have to come in from my back of my house and drill all the way to the front of my house for the Fiber?  sweat.gif

Can use Homeplug.

If pull all the way, they'll also charge u for extra fibre length.

Thanks for the info but the reason I asked is that, I only have 1 socket at my living room and somehow the homeplug does not work if i use a multisocket adapter (I tried using Belkin power surge one)  hmm.gif . it shows, connection problem or something like that.

Hence at the moment I use the socket at my living room for the homeplug and tarik one long extenstion from another room to plug my tv. Its very very ugly!  cry.gif

On another note, I'm gonna extend my room to make way for a computer room, thats why I ask if anyone has done a wall lan socket.  icon_question.gif

There is Homeplug with a socket on it (HL110EP), so u don't waste any wall socket.

mine down since 17th april, does it make you feel better ?  sweat.gif

No it doesn't since I did managed to get through TM Technical Line ask them refresh port, but nothing happens. Since I'm using my 615 as a VLAN Bridge, the next advice the technical guy gave was to go into the router gateway (which oddly enough, there is none anymore currently for the 615). There's also a strange clicking noise when I refresh the router and it tries to connect to the Internet. My modem has everything in Yellow, including Internet.

My WNDR3700v2 works flawlessly too. Seems like the cause is the 615...but...do you guys think I should mention my setup to TM? Or better yet, have a solution to my predicament? icon_question.gif

So there was this one time, I decided to get unifi. I have no hair left now, or sanity.

Unifi is a piece of shit. Speed, yes. Everything else is shyt. And mind you, this is no ordinary "expected" shyt. This time, tmnet rolled out the big guns la...this shyt is those kind of epic kind of spannar.

Router is shit, signal is shit, suka suka from 54 to 24 to 5.5 back up to 18 then go down to eventually 1mpbs. Then u dc. Something will happen and you will reconnect. Rinse and repeat, each cycle lasts about 2 mins. My room to router is ~25 feet? 25 feet through one door I get 2 bars of signal. This african man, right smack in the middle of africa is probably getting 3 bars minimum.

I actually dont know if its my equally shitty TPLINK network card or unifi, but based on past records, I'd mortgage my house and bet on unifi. its like how arsenal fans who didnt watch the game will blame denilson if the result is bad. internet slow blame tm. really is that my fault?

But it's ok...if there is any justice in the world...everyone who is involved in making unifi/streamyx shit will one day get cancer and AIDS and die. painfully. slowly. painfully slowly.

just like how we felt when unifi crawls.

btw, anyone knows why i keep dc intermittently? will homeplug help?

I just switch to a pro router. Problem solved.

But still there are other problems. Like what I'm facing now.

DOn't worry, just recent problems. But I'd suggest getting a pro router if you want to maximise experience.

FTTH is actually quite stable in terms of connection. Those facing intermittent connection issue here are mostly VDSL type for high rise/condominium.
