Every night at OUG speed drop below 3mbps average between 1.5mbps ~ 2mbps.

Lodged report twice at myUniFi portal, and all got Closed requesting for TM Speedtest screenshot. Sent them the speed test but there is no reply at all.

Oh, and dont ask me to call 1300881221 as it will never get through.

Yes I agree with you. 4 of them came for my installation. On technical part, they know and well verse on what to configure and how to configure the equipment. As I'm IT proficient, they gave me the instruction and configure the BTU and modem personally using their guidance. But on the wiring part, they did a shoddy work, messy and simply do it as long as they get the job done. Let me ask you guys for FTTH installation, how did they mount the "gray box" connecting the drop cable from the pole and the indoor cable at your backlane ? Did they just use nail and smash that thing onto your wall ? I asked why you didnt drill and use screw instead ? Their answer was there is no electric power outside.

Now I got a bit of worry if the "white" indoor fiber cable can it last long under sun/rain as about 3meters are exposed outside.

@rattan,
Bro, is there any other way to complain about the slow speed at night other than myUniFi or calling their ever busy helpline ? Every night speed drops until 1.5mbps at 10pm+

I got a record breaking 0.7mbps at 11pm yesterday night and managed to lodge a report from the call centre. Now the case is escalated to network division, god knows if it will take them 3 months to solve this issue.

Ok, so alkt from tmn united also facing same fate as us.

So, Puchong + Tmn United + OUG = Old Klang Road area all suffer from slow speed at night.

I called them at 10:51pm yesterday night, put the DECT phone on speaker mode while waiting.
Manage to talk to and lodge a report with the customer helpline at 11:02pm.

They're eating more than they can digest, their equipment is overloaded for our area already.

@hackwire,
If you have access to the 615 web configuration, try changing the channel first.
Next try changing the Auto/20MHz/40MHz for the wifi and see if it helps.
Else, try to downgrade back to b/g mode. Keep troubleshooting and see which config works best for you.

Your problem might be related to this as you're using Macbook.

Guess what happen when I did that ??
Tonight I logged a case, tomorrow they CLOSE it asking you to send speedtest. I sent and thats it no more reply.
The next week I log AGAIN, they CLOSE IT again asking me for the same speedtest, sent again and that it no more reply again.
Yesterday night I got fedup with the myunifi report method and make a call instead

Welcome on board, every night it has been like this. It will surely get worse mind you, seeing how they push all out asking people to sign up.

Warning to those in Old Klang Road and Puchong area especially those who want to sign up, you will get <1mbps at 8pm+ everyday.

Areas affected:
OUG
Tmn United
Taman Desa
Puchong

Fuiyoh almost whole stretch of gardens around OKR is 0.7mbps download speed now

I can proof you wrong. Speed is fine at the moment, only at night it crawl to 1mbps.

You need to access the DIR-615 router web config and then from there you disconnect the PPPOE session and it will automatically reauthenticate and get a new IP.
