My FC with Petronax Primax 95 Extra:-

Pump RM62.01=32.637 Liter can go up to 580km. Fuel Consumption show in MID is 17.2km/l for the tank of petrol.

I'm also having the same doubt that I can't achieve 20 km/l above for full tank.

Driving 80% City, 20% Highway, occasionally use cruise control and econ mode on all times.

Well I think the different in FC from all our Insights most probably due to:

1. Accesories installed, bodykit, rubber mat, subwoofer, passengers and bags..more weight more fuel needed.
2. Driving style
3. Road condition, hill climb and traffic condition.

Onwers experience from me:

Extremely satisfied for what I have paid for. I don't know where to get a RM98K CBU Made in Japan, loaded with features i.e. Vehicle Stability Assist, Cruise control, Headlight adjustment, digital air con, auto rain sensing wiper, auto headlight, futuristic dash, color changing speedo, sleek sporty styling, 0.28 drag co-ef, undercarriage all nicely cover up, responsive ride and handling, 200NM of torque, nice radio cd player (to me this is nicer than the Nav equipped), silent stealth mode when stop laugh.gif , almost silent engine start notworthy.gif , gentle chime and audio alert, mother Earth friendly ..and oh dont forget the best part, DUTY FREE! whistling.gif

Ok the downside of it..interior can be quiet but soundproof is average only, ride can be hard (probably the Turanza 55 series tires but heck sporty wub.gif ), engine can be loud when rev high, missing cargo lamp doh.gif , 4 1/2 passengers not 5, no ignition keyhole light, low headroom for rear, useless rear wiper that barely swipe 50% of the window, ONE remote key vmad.gif, beep beep horn ..WTF?!? doh.gif Hatch release dinosaur style..(why not ala Mazda electronic button cry.gif ), has electric folding side mirror but NO auto fold when ignition is cut.

Overall ..I'm lovin it

very precise summary... it says it all!

By the way, my SA told me in his HC alone, they receive approximately 50 car stolen cases in a month now, particularly Honda City and Civic.
Hope fully honda Insight will not in thief list, since the demand is over supply now.

I remembered when I test drive, I floor the pedal until the SA told me...be safe be safe! haha
That's why I bought it as in the beginning, I thought 1.3cc is under power.

my FC all the while remains at 17 - 18km-ish. full tank last for around 550+km.

my last tank of petrol, from PJ went to putrajaya for photoshooting, came back to PJ, from PJ drove to subang and back for numerous time, and then from PJ to raub (pahang), and from raub (pahang) back to PJ, i still got 10% of petrol left on tank. i am really amazed!

I've the same points with you. 98k for CBU with nice features and Honda Badge, nothing to ask for more.
For the electric folding side mirror not autofold when ignition cutoff, i always forgotten to fold and therefore have to start engine just to fold it and the rear wiper is really useless, not sure what is it for.

my FC is very similar to yours...regardless how much green I've tried to maintain, it won't go above 600km per full tank...are my driving skills really that bad?? cry.gif

try to maintain speed in between 50-60km/h for entire drive for full tank.
Your milleage will shoot up to 800km plus per tank. I've tried that for a while but give up as I am getting pissed off from the other drivers behind me who keep flashing light or honk.

Same for Prius, they claimed on 38km/l FC which is achieveable but you must drive under certain conditions.

Does it mean average fuel consumption for Insight is 16-18 km/l only? Mean I am normal, it's not car problem or my driving style.

if mostly city drive and jam condition, i think it should be normal for that FC, but i do always drive to subang jaya using federal and LDP during night time whereby the traffic aren't tat bad, i could improve the FC a bit from there.

each time i pump full tank, the indicator will show that i can drive for 730km-ish for tat tank, but still end up about 550km+.
however, this round of full tank, i drove for 235km+ and indicator showing that my remaining can go for around 480km+, which...is quite good achievement isn't it?tongue.gif

but still FC showing 17 - 18km tongue.gif

To those who upgraded theirs to 6 speakers, wanna know if there are additional pair of cables ffrom the player unit for tweeter connection? I can see its quite easy to DIY add a pair of tweeter into its position.
