QUOTE(psyeo @ Apr 29 2011, 11:35 AM) hmm my colleague also thinks that the reverse sensor on his is too sensitive. IMO, it is just placed too low (or slightly facing downwards), so when you reverse if there is a slight slope behind it will beep i think sensitive is good. a lot of time if there is small high curb behind, if the sensor too high it may not be detected, and ur bumper will be gone. |

Auto Door Lock
Anybody tried to programme the auto door lock as explained in the manual book page 204. There are 2 types of setting the auto door lock. 1. All door will lock whenever the shift lever is move out of the "P" position. 2. All door lock whenever vehicle reaches 15km/hr. Just got my insight last Saturday. Still learning the manuals and fuel efficient driving. So far so good. 350Km covered half tank using Shell. No problem reaching 600KM. |

Everytime the Range hits '0', how much fuel are left roughly? When i pump everytime, it just fill up around 33 litres... Our tanks are 40L right? and it does not includes the spare tank of 6.9L right?
Which means once the range reaches '0', i still have about 7 litres left + 6.9L spare? |

When the range reaches 0, or when the fuel indicator lights on, there should be 8 or 7 litres left, and that is all your have, that considered your spare tank. To be precise, the fuel indicator will on during 32 litres used.Which means once the range reaches '0', i still have about 7 litres left + 6.9L spare? |

QUOTE(myafdal1989 @ Apr 29 2011, 10:44 PM) you must understand what is mean by "hybrid".. it's mean combination of two sources power train.. petrol+electric.so it will work as normal engine car but assist with electric power. motor part will have to function most probably it can be act as dinamo and can switch back to motor again. meaning its no need to manually charge the battery. this concept has being used in all "hybrid" type car. another once that you said need to charge is "EV" car or electric vehicle. this car solely built with one power train which is electric power train (motor). so it need to manually charge before used. although EV maybe can used concept like hybrid car (make motor able to switch to dynamo mode), there is not enough of kinetic energy to be convert to archive same amount of electric energy used to move the car. cause some energy have been transfer and convert into other element such has sound, heat and friction. |

QUOTE(andru @ Apr 29 2011, 10:10 PM) Auto Door Lock The auto door lock as stated in the manual will NOT WORK. Read the manual properly - it states this feature is for "specific models of Australia & South Africa" only. The Malaysian models we get don't have this. If you want to put auto-lock, you need to install another auto-lock device. I got mine for RM200. It auto-locks when you step on the brake (w/key in the ignition) and auto-unlocks when you kill the engine. |
