Hi,
thanks for redscorpion for starting this post.
As graduate from IPTS, i plan to apply master in UM, however, most of my lecturer and mentor object it, as it is possible to take up to few years to graduate as master in UM, and i may probably fail, not due to poor performance but due to political issues.
Is there anyone here willing to support me, let say you have happy hour in studying master, and able to graduate within one year?
I challenge you to complete your master (by research full time) study in UM within a year's time.
I really

you if you really can.
Why?
1) Grant apply need at least 2-4 months
2) Issue PO need near to 2 weeks, each.
3) Payment delayed 2-3 months is normal, apply scholarship only know after 4 months.
4) Long queue for machines
5) Proposal writing, paper work for purchasing items, make sure 1 paper got accepted before you can graduate
5.1) journal reviewer usually took 2-3 months to review your paper.
6) thesis writing and viva?
This is yet to be include the time u spend for assay optimization and experimental design or doing the lab work.
One year graduated? Impossible if is by research work in science related field.
If you doing arts or religious or language study.... maybe???? I dont know.
