Since the old thread is dead already, and there are plenty of threads asking questions about UM from a simple search I've made in this EE section because there is no proper thread for this university, I've decided to come up with this thread.

U may post any questions or any problems here. And this includes everything about UM from the highest studies to Asasi Sains. Hopefully many good people from UM itself or EX-UM may contribute here.

U may also post any related news and share here if there are any interesting courses or events. I hope that everyone can participate and contribute here instead of creating new threads.

I'll update the thread from time to time to include any activities or latest news for everyone to read. Thanks!

final year from education faculty here, perhaps you want to make a list of current and ex-students of UM?

yeah sure. thats what i have in mind too. for anyone after spm or matric or diploma. u guys are waiting for an offer to continue ur studies. come and shoot ur questions here. i know there are seniors from UM here lurking around. just ask and someone will definitely try to answer your questions.

My lecture said um got only old2 building.. Is that true?

There are few new "white" *ahem* elephant *ahem* building....for admins.... dunno for what...

of course there are few old buildings in there but all of them are still standing still. may i know why did u ask?

I've been going to UM at least once a month since January this year... wow... fakulti perniagaan area... the buildings aren't that old looking, but still old.. and.. wow... toilets are... ehem.. got no smoking sign everywhere but full of cigarette butts everywhere... o_O

Planning to do masters in UM. Anyone know when is the closing date for application?

I noticed a few new buildings being built since I left UM. By the way what's happening to the Wisma R&D near TM Tower? They painted the building over but I haven't seen anybody in that building.

It is enough parking place for postgraduate student at Faculty Of Computer Science?

i would say that its sufficient. theres a big car park behind the building. near the cafeteria. but its shared between postgraduates, undergraduates and visitors though.
