moreover RIM is not some small start up company... they re one of the largest hardware and software maker who has existed for a long time...
u may argue that it's the first time they make a tablet... but i dun remember Apple, Motorola, Samsung etc flopping up their iPad 1, Xoom and Galaxy Tab like this as well... (but Apple flopped iPhone 4

hardware problem will always have a serious implication, unlike software which u can juz update it quietly and act as if nothing has happened...
