QUOTE(piscesguy @ Apr 19 2011, 08:47 AM) Seriously, BB Playbook is beating any android tablet out there now.. Just get BB playbook.Best tablet at this moment No native apps for email, calendar? Nahhhhh, keep dreaming la playbook want to beat honeycomb... Added on April 19, 2011, 11:30 amQUOTE(eugenechiuu @ Apr 19 2011, 01:07 AM) Yes comes with camera.. But the camera apparently is quite bad, worse than mobile phone ones.. One of the users gave a review and commented it on YouTube.. iOS still seems to be smoother overall looking at the YouTube video.. But Multi tasking definitely beats iOS4 hands down.. Added on April 19, 2011, 8:30 amhttp://www.engadget.com/2011/04/18/asus-eee-pad-transformer-uk-edition-review/ Asus Transformer review is out... Hmm... UI doesn't look so good as I suspected... Seems like Honeycomb still need some tweaks and Asus needs to get their software done properly, though everything else looks really impressive... I take back my words, I think iPad2 is still gonna dominate for now... You must look another review bro....engadget look biased.. This post has been edited by baretta: Apr 19 2011, 11:30 AM

QUOTE(astria @ Apr 20 2011, 10:47 AM) so is iPad2, if u ask me... camera, wifi tethering, all these are old tech that Apple market as new features... New tech doesnt mean to implement immediately....many thing to be consider, price, availabilty, reliabilty, etc etc... U have a good spec but still lag, no point lar.

Different company diff pricing policy. Why I bought xoom? Bcoz cheaper than singapore. Warranty? I dunno whether xoom is international warranty like I pad. why I don't want to wait Asus? Bcoz I don't like overlay UI.

QUOTE(Batusai @ Apr 25 2011, 09:37 PM) well somehow.. Ipad 2 camera is sucky.. no idea why.. I dont think it would be much difference.. in graphical power.. I pad 2 camera not so good, but ipad2 screen still better than xoom. Added on April 25, 2011, 9:59 pmQUOTE(astria @ Apr 25 2011, 07:55 PM) so far only Galaxy Tab, Flyer, Iconia and Thinkpad are using custom UI... the rest re all vanilla Android... and no, i doubt u can ve int'l warranty, as per standard policy of a phone maker... U mean xoom or I pad? This post has been edited by baretta: Apr 25 2011, 09:59 PM

QUOTE(astria @ Apr 25 2011, 10:59 PM) contray to wat u believe, i ve had friends from the States who are able to exchange their iPhone 4 with broken monitor glass over here in Australia... Hahahaha, it is weird. But here, iphone 4 is not international.. Added on April 26, 2011, 1:16 amQUOTE(Ricky Ling @ Apr 25 2011, 11:03 PM) Well, see the LCD screen before u decide. Once u try IPS, u won't use others Yep, I PS screen is better. Like ipad2 screen more brighter than xoom, but no choice, I prefer xoom than others honeycomb tablet. QUOTE(eugenechiuu @ Apr 27 2011, 10:24 PM) The one bias is more like you.. Sure playbook can run their own apps and android's.. But is there any BB apps that's even worth getting it for(other than the fact that you own a BB)? Most of the points u stated any Android 3.0 tablet can do the same and cheaper price... If those points are important to you doesn't mean it's the same for other consumers, I can list out things IPad/Asus Transformer have over PB also.. Does PB have garage band? Does it have iPS display? For some ppl, these 2 points are worth getting an iPad for already, but doesn't necessarily mean that it's superior to the other, that's why competition exists.. If you're Saying PB being better is definite, RIM's stock prices wouldn't have plunged so low when PB released.. Relax bro, pb will run android apps after ipad3 or xoom2 released. Right now it just a toy la......hahahahahah all youtube preview about pb just nfs game, youtube, web browsing, music.....hahahah nothing about bizz apps........

QUOTE(astria @ Apr 28 2011, 03:56 PM) well, they said they will support apps written for Android 2.3+... not too sure wat RIM mean by that, since technically speaking u can get apps written for Android 1.0 to run on Android 2.3 as well... Support is one thing, how reliable on th Pb when run android apps still unknown

QUOTE(viruz019 @ May 8 2011, 09:38 PM) well, having a good camera can remove the needs of having a digital camera or dslr with you. sometimes im lazy to brng out my dslr and i can easily use my desire hd to snap some pictures..though quality wise of course cannot compare..but still, it's bare-able Better use handphone than tablet
