how's your acer iconia a500 so far?

Honestly I'm really loving it, been having fun customizing the Widgets and putting it through its paces. Screen is nice although you can argue the transformer beats it there. Battery life is about 1.5 days with light surfing and picture taking. The honeycomb os is really customize friendly, I dont feel like im imprisoned by Apple anymore.

Most importantly I can bring and consume my media from 32gb internal memory, micro SD and my 320gb hdd reads without a problem. Once tegra3 tabs are out I may retire this one but for now I'm in love :-)

Notebookcheck's big tablet comparison review: laugh.gif

The verdict seemed very biased with the iPad 2 taking all the leads laugh.gif

Can't say I'm surprised. Apple sets a bar for tablets which is hard to beat. I myself don't think they will be surpassed by any Android tablet this year due to iOS's ease of use, the iPad2's hardware and strategic pricing and Apple's marketing.

Because I live partly with this principle, "If you don't have any expectations, you can't be disappointed".

Besides, the Transformer isn't bad at all, it is perhaps the one of the best Android tablets now.

Plus, I really dislike Apple for how it's influencing people now.

i ve to admit, Apple builds great products for the noobs... iOS is easy to use and navigate...

but then with ease of use comes boredom as well... ur iOS juz look like any other iOS with all the icons on it... this is where Android scores, customization... no 2 Android owners will ve the same home screen, we want variety, dun we? laugh.gif

Putting tablets inside bags seemed abit risky don't you think bro?
I remembered there was a thread indicating that its best not to put the lid of notebooks facing the back of the user when the laptop is placed inside the bag because bending might damage the screen...
Tablets seemed even more fragile sad.gif
