Performance of their new chip I guess. Much more powerful than the Tegra 2 apparently. Also, the unibody shell is more expensive to fabricate as usual.

The pricing came from SoyaCincau.com which says that MacStudio allow you to preorder the iPad2 at iPad pricing and pay the remainder if it is more expensive.

Both camera's are VGA quality!

But even if the resolution is in play, the A5 chips are more powerful in terms of graphical power.

The IPS panel of the Transformer makes it the only tablet able to match the iPad2's display.

I feel like getting one now.

The S2 looks like the Android equivalent of the Toshiba Libretto W100.

Or a Kyocera Echo.

I am quite disappointed with the local pricing for the Transformer. RM1750 for just the 16GB version. Add another RM500 for the keyboard dock. What happened to being 100 USD cheaper than the iPad2?

Apparently, RM1750 is the 'official' pricing. But guess we will have to wait til its official launching next month.

Yeah, if it was RM1750 with the keyboard, then it's still affordable.

I think the person who imports the Transformer in and manages to sell it around iPad2 pricing will be laughing to the bank. Would do it myself but don't have enough funds for more than a few units.

A tablet with the computing power of a low end Core 2 Duo? Yes please.

I think Vegas is a bit too taxing for even Tegra 3 but who knows? One day maybe it will be tamed for the mobile platform.

Hmmm, interesting stuff. We could see a Tegra 3 equipped tablet as early as September.
