i opened my new account in tesco scott garden, really didn't expect they would set up a counter in front of some arcade shop.
got 2 umbrella from my account opening. Yes, they allow to use credit / debit card to pay, but somehow it refuse to accept my citibank cashback credit card and to use cimb credit card to pay.

Getting Started

Just saw in the tv that sspn limit is now 12k? I thought it is 6k. That s a lot! Put in 12k, that s instantaneous return of 2880 (assuming tax bracket is 24%).
If I put in today, will i be able to take it out next Jan? Without any penalty or charges?

i think that is sspn-i which has life insurance, so the tax relief is 6k for sspn and another 6k for insurance, but if you already have your EPF and insurance contribution that 6K has already reach the max limit.

SSPN-i is a normal savings plus tax relief up to RM6k pa SSPN-I Plus is a normal savings plus insurance (mthly commitment) plus tax relief up to RM6k pa (tis will join force with existing RM6k under EPF & Life Insurance)

I call up the SSPN hotline and asked them whether can set up a standing instruction using credit-card facilities or not.
She answered as of this moment they do not have S.I. facilities.
However, to my mind, this S.I. thingy is just a matter of time.
